Adobe Analytics

In the past week I implemented a few new events. These were setup in the admin section with the correct type and all other settings selected. The event was configured in the ACDL and tracked as a click. I verified that the correct event number is being triggered on click and passed in the b/ss pixel. When I attempted to configure a report in Workspace, none of the new events are available to select. I’ve searched all over Google and the only thing I’ve seen is that there could be a “delay” between implementation and being able to use the metric. Is this still the case or am I missing some step? It’s been several days since this was setup. I also confirmed that we’re nowhere near our event limit in the contract. If this is a delay thing, how long is the delay? Are all the values that have been passed lost? I’ve never experienced this issue in the past, so is it new?

Hi,I have created a Adobe Portfolio website.I would like to connect my portfolio to Google Tag Manager in order to track events on it. I've tried to add my GTM Tag, but it is refused. The Adobe Portfolio seems to accept only Analytics tag. It is a pity.Does it exist a solution to add my GTM tag to Adobe Portfolio ? Regards,

Hello analytics lovers, I guess I have a kinda **bleep** question, I found a dimension called click to page in the data warehouse. In relation to other dimensions and metrics it gives us some pretty strange numbers. We kind of understand it as a dimension of occurences but I would like to know its more specific functioning and definition. Can any of you give me some advice? Thanks a lot, everyone. Dan

We are observing that the % of unspecified visits has increased by ~10% in the months of April and May for one of our eVar metric is Visit. Can someone let me know how to debug and find the reason for the sudden spike  

Hey team, We are trying to use adobeDataLayer.push() when we make click on a button that redirects to other route, the issue is that when we trigger adobeDataLayer.push() and then we make the redirection adobeDataLayer takes the next page URL, I'm looking for a callback or something to can wait for push method to execute our redirection after. Any suggestion please?

Is there a way to highlight a fallout result measurement with a summary number? Trying to highlight a certain result in a fallout path to our C suite in a dashboard without needing them to view and understand the whole report.

I am trying to see if the revised NRF calendar for Adobe Analytics reporting. Currently 2023 starts on1/29/2023 as per their old calendar but because we are in a Leap year, this year the NRF has one extra week which is this week 1/28/2024. This calendar has been recently updated so that 2023 will now start 2/5/2023 instead which means the first week 1/29/2023 now has to move to the last week January of Merch Calendar 2022. I am looking at the preview and not seeing this change and not sure when this will change/ if this will change.  

We make a server-side request to the Target Delivery API to  fetch the active A/B Tests for a user, using the marketingCloudVisitorId, sessionId, tntId (when available) and mboxes as described in documentation. This was working correctly until recently when the `analytics` field was being sent with the response e.g. "analytics": {    "payload": {        "pe": "tnt",        "tnta": "1100814:2:0|2,1100814:2:0|1",        "session-id": "6de07c69-b2bf-4bb6-9cbb-b97cb7d89669"    } }But now the response no longer contains the analytics payload per mbox, and without the tnta we cannot call the data insertion API.If I make a request to the Target Delivery API with Postman I get the same result without analytics payload, but if I modify the session-id manually in the request and use the same mcid, I do receive the analytics payload.Can anyone shed any light on what might be happening here? Firstly, I was so excited to learn about doing the ETL process all in the dataflow Microsoft workspace and then bam! you can just get loaded in your desktop dashboard file in under few minutes what would usually take 8 hours for me. But as I set up the connection in Power BI workspace dataflow, I specifically wanted to pull in 2023 data but regardless of whatever date I set, the data loaded is by default current days' data (5/17/2024). See screenshot, in green highlighted the dates, you can see in the data preview loaded the data is entirely different to the date I selected.  

Here is the context: I have launched a campaign which users can access when they click on a certain custom link. The flow is as follows:User sees CTA > Clicks CTA > Directed to a privacy consent page > Agrees to consent by clicking a button > Directed to experience. A number of users are facing one of two errors: In the loading of the consent page, and in the submission action on the consent page. These errors are broadly categorised as by an evar called Evar1: consent_start_error and consent_submit_error. Hi All,There are multiple pages in the journey - some pages load properly and some page don't load (acts like SPA). Issue is when there are two page continuously which don't load (act as SPA), Events are being passed on next page from the previous page. For Example -Page A - event1 and event2Page B - event1 only (but we see event2 as well passing in it). if i check adobeDataLayer event2 is not populated in the data-layer but this is present in adobeDataLayer.getState(). Any solution to handle this situation? we have reset the data layer as well in action section of the rule.  

I am trying to create a freeform table where I want month wise visits level data for last 2 years and want YoY Percentage change in number of visits and Month on percentage change from Jan to Dec, How can I do that? Why am I not able to Compare time periods option when I take Month or any Time Dimensions in my freeform table? 

Hi all, I have a specific marketing channel (Type/Bookmarked) and I got an average bounce rate of 16.44% when I broke it down by days for the whole of March 2024. However, when I download this data to excel and calculate the average, excel is giving me a bounce rate of 16.13%. May I know what is the cause of this discrepancy in bounce rate?

Anyone else noticing that displays are not showing when in Dark Mode?  when you hover or click into the display, then it appears.    

Hi all when getting the data exported from data warehouse I have exported 2 metrics, bookings and page views. The number for the month of Jan-April 2024 for pages views is almost doubled in excel but bookings matches exactly. I am using all the same metrics and dimensions for both workspace and data warehouse what is the cause for this discrepancy?

Hi All, I have a dimension user login wherein I have list of user and against them I have journey ID. How can I visualize average time spent by an user for each journey ID.

I am using Adobe Assurance with iOS 17.3.1. I am unable to get the PIN pad to appear after I scan the QR code and click on "Open Sephora". It just opens the app with the large red A in the upper right hand corner. However no server calls are transmitted to Adobe Assurance. Any ideas on how to get the PIN pad to appear?Thanks ...GeneSephora

In the new datawarehouse interface I am not seeing a way to filter to only those requests that are scheduled.  We have thousands of reports as the API feeds are also shown in the interface.  It would help if I could at least filter those out so that I could find those that are scheduled.  

hi, is there a documentation on how to SFTP to Adobe rather HTTP(via Bulk insertion API), for file size is concerned? https://analytics-collection.adobe.io/aa/collect/v1/events/validate Although doc here-https://developer.adobe.com/analytics-apis/docs/2.0/guides/endpoints/bulk-data-insertion/file-format/ tells one can up to 100mb gzip, I'm unsure/ not prefer HTTP large data. pls advise.
