Hi champs,I have a general question about the prop's pathing abilities and whether props are actually still necessary in 2024 anymore.So, in the past, I would set a prop over an eVar if I needed pathing and see whatever values had been set in a sequence and eVars did not support it.Today, Analysis Workspace supports pathing on both Flow and Next or previous Item visualizations which makes me wonder, for what reason I am actually using props anymore (especially since I can set my evar to expire after the Hit). Ok, maybe for list support, but honestly, the 100 character limitation on prop values make them barely usable anyway.Maybe I am missing something, but curious to hear your answers.Björn 

I have recently been through the process of migrating our Adobe Analytics implementation to Web SDK.  My intention is to write a series of blog posts detailing what my thought process was, how we got it done, and the things you need to be aware of when you take this on.  In other words, I've made the mistakes so hopefully you don't have to! Why move to Web SDK? Before we get on to any elephants, I wanted to take a moment to explain why I think you should migrate to using Web SDK for your Adobe Analytics data collection. Support for First Party Device ID This was our number one reason for moving.  On certain browsers the lifetime of an Adobe Analytics cookie is limited to seven days.  The impact of this is that you lose track of users, making your analytics data less accurate and reducing your ability to personalise experiences. I would assume a lot of implementation specialists are setting up tracking for error in some way in Adobe Analytics, so I figured that I would ask if anyone out there in the Adobe Analytics community who have been doing this a long time developed a best practice for that.  Recently, we'e been going back and forth about the "best" way to accurately track different types of errors while also using Adobe Analytics to its best potential.  We've approached it from different ways: Originally, we fired one event any time there was an error and then two eVars:Error TypeError MessageMore recently, we have tried firing the same event but instead used a list variable to capture all errors happening in a particular scenario, so we would have an errors array with the error event.The most recent discussion has centered on using three different kinds of error events, like service errors vs. user generated, etc. I've also started to rethink how we also manage the expiration of the

I have a confession to make; this is not the blog article I was planning to write this week.  In fact, this week's original blog article was practically finished when I received a message.  The message, in response to Part 1 of my series, made me stop in my tracks and realise I needed to cover something far more fundamental before going any further. While Analysis Workspace is excellent for sharing data stories across Adobe Analytics users, users often need help if there is a need to share the report with outside individuals. Using the Workspace Project PowerPoint Exporter, you can go beyond exporting a project as a .pdf or .csv. You can automatically export visualizations and tables into a PowerPoint deck using the tool. As screenshots of the report and .pdf/.csv versions are a common way to share insights with a broader team, there are limitations around editing and clarifying key data points. This limitation may be a significant challenge if you want to emphasize or update critical findings from the analysis. However, using the PowerPoint Exporter tool, Freeform tables, including those with breakdowns, are transformed into native PowerPoint tables, making them easily editable and customizable. On January 4, 2022, Adobe announced plans to end-of-life Reports & Analytics, as well as the SiteCatalyst point-product. The Reports & Analytics functionality and capabilities have been moved to Analysis Workspace and a threshold of workflow parity has been reached. The purpose of this post is to help you identify the assets that your organization is currently using within Reports & Analytics (R&A) and provide guidance for how to transition to Adobe Workspace. In case you missed it, the North America Adobe Analytics Champion office Hours were on February 8th.  The hosts were Andy Lundsford, Meghan Powers, Christel Guidon, Jason Egan and Achaia Walton. They covered the skills that an analyst should learn now and in the next five years. There were a variety of answers from the Champions, touching on language and technology. They also talked about the persistence of the ECID in CJA compared to Adobe Analytics. One suggestion was to bring your own ID, especially with the deprecation of third-party cookies. The Champs discussed the best use for flow reports, including some tips and tricks. Another question was about the use of a connector to view app and web in CJA using AEP.
