A client has provided a webpage where we need to implement Adobe Analytics tracking. To ensure a structured and effective implementation, the first step is to prepare a Business Requirement Document (BRD).Key Elements of the BRD:Client Requirements (Goals) – Clearly define the objectives of tracking. This is also referred to as Key Business Requirements (KBRs).Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) – Identify measurable success metrics aligned with the business goals.Metrics & Dimensions – Define the data points that need to be captured for analysis.Report Types – Outline the reporting structure, including dashboards and key insights expected.A well-structured BRD ensures clarity, aligns stakeholders, and lays a strong foundation for accurate Adobe Analytics implementation.Does anyone have recommendations or a preferred format for structuring the BRD effectively? Is there documentation (or better yet a tutorial) that shows how to set up in Adobe Data Collection using the ACDL extension?  We aren't ready to go to Web SDK  yet, so just looking for Analytics instructions. What is the difference between using the ACDL extension to set tags vs. without it with a non-Web SDK set up?

Hi, I am trying to create a data feed that would fetch data from the 1st December to 1st of January. This was configured to fetch daily. The status has remain active for hours. How do I check what is wrong and why it hasn't completed the job in the past 5 hrs. I checked job history, I found nothing 

I have a website, www.domain.catalog, with multiple subpages that are all structured in the same way. Since their data can be analyzed in the same way, I need to create individual Adobe Analytics (AA) reports for each subpage. The URLs follow this pattern:www.domain.catalog.page1www.domain.catalog.page2www.domain.catalog.page3Is there a way to automatically generate separate reports for each subpage without manually copying a report and changing the URL each time? Can I use wildcards, segments, or filters to automate this process?Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

I'm looking to streamline a Workspace report to show multiple breakdowns for a single dimension.Specifically, I have eVars for all the usual utm_ variables (source, medium, campaign, content, term)Given a single Page, I can do a breakdown for any one of them at a time.Ideally I'd like to show them all at once, and independently of each other (not a breakdown of a breakdown) For instance:PAGE URL.htmutm_sourcesource1 100 occurrencessource2 50 occurrencesutm_mediummedium1 70 occurrencesmedium2 30 occurrencesand so on. Is this possible?I know I can do this with multiple panels, but I'd like to have everything in one panel and not need to change the page in every panel to update the report.Thanks!

Hello, I’m working on implementing the Adobe Mobile SDK and sending data to Adobe Analytics. Hi everyone, I would like to find out what users did after starting their visits with a certain entry page. I would like to use the Flow visualisation and added the page name variable to the 'Start' container in Flow. I also created a freeform table with 'entry page' and simply 'page'. I have 2 questions:I am aware that path views in Flow represent instances and not visits. The number of pathviews in Flow (646K) almost matches the number of visits (660K) with the dimension 'Entry page'. And if I understood correctly, when I place a page on the first 'Start' container, Adobe will treat this as the entry page. Is this correct? I wanted to verify this and added the same page I put into the first container as an entry page dimension to the segment field. Expectedly, the number of visits in the freeform table stayed the same. But the number of pathways in the flow visualization descreased from 646K to 106K. How is this possible, if adding a page to the 'start' container is already

Hi Team,We've migrated to webSDK and sending data to Adobe Analytics. Adobe Target also implemented through webSDK.While sending data to Edge Network, Adobe Target "decision proposition" call triggers prior to "Analytics page load" call. The decision proposition call has some "data object" analytics attributes append which implemented in "webSDK extension" and this Target call is reaching Adobe Analytics.Issue - Post webSDK migration, the eVar "unspecified" values spiked up for the Page load related metrics(unique visitors visits, and page views).We've reached Adobe Team and they concluded due to "Adobe Target decision proposition call" reaching Analytics we are seeing spike in "unspecified" values count. To avoid that situation the Adobe Team hasn't suggested any solution to us.How to make sure the "unspecified" values for the Pageload metrics are not spiking due to Target, any solutions or suggestions.Thanks 

So we've been neglecting it for a long time now within our reporting by taking it out... but the curiosity got the better of me.Could someone please help me and my team understand what session refresh actually means within the Last Touch Marketing Channel report?  See attached for a reference.  Thanks! 

The page is captured in the 'Page Not Found' metric when using the marketing channel to check the source. 'Session Refresh' shows high for the page that lands on a 404 error. The page is not deleted but is redirected to a 404 page.Screenshot below. 

Hi everyone, I'm running into an issue where I have prompts set up on a report that produces a bar chart. When I run the report with no selection on my prompts I'm able to click on the bars that populate on my bar chart which pops open a window where I can see further information. When I select my prompts however, and then I run my report, I'm able to click on the bars that populate, but in the window that pops up, I keep getting the error "No data to display" Any help?

s_vi & s_fid was working properly previously, but these are cookie are not get set. Due to which marketing visitor_id is getting null.  

I have a weird problem. I had set up the eVars in Report Suite but those are not available or reflected in Adobe Launch Rules Section to use. I am not sure what would have been the reason behind it. I would really appreciate any help on this.

Hi.I want to receive Adobe Analytics data in Power Bi using Connector function.However, there is some difference between the data received through Connector and the data I see in Adobe Analytics workspace.Why is this difference happening?I think it is because the timing of fetching data through Connector is not real-time. How does Connector fetch Adobe data? Why is there a difference?

Going back to what I said in my first post of this series, I'm a big fan of Web SDK but 'the elephant in the room' is that Web SDK was not primarily designed for Adobe Analytics.  This means there are a few unexpected things that can cause you to slip up.  I'm here to help you avoid those banana peels! We are currently migrating reports from AA to CJA. As some of our analysts are trying to migrate these over themselves, we found that only CJA product Admins are listed as possible report owners in CJA. Naturally the analysts want to be the owner of their own reports but I cannot find a permission that adds them to the list without making them a product admin. Anyone else run into this issue or know what permission is needed?

I am looking for advice on how to troubleshoot an issue that I am seeing in our reporting.  there are a small number of duplicate Order Ids that are used across multiple days that we are seeing different product and revenue amounts tied to them. We are only seeing the first date and product in our back end system so I am under sure how the second would populate with a different revenue amount and different productionsDates – 2/8 and 2/12 

Can some one please explain how does this "Breakdown Fallthrough at this touchpoint" work? If I have 2 pages on my site and I want to understand where did my visitors go before they reached Page 2 from page 1. So I create a fall out visualization in analytics and use "Breakdown fallthrough at this touchpoint" on Page 1. The number of unique visitors I see on the breakdown table will not be the same as unique visitors on the fall out visual on page 2.  It will be great if someone can explain why the difference in these numbers. For example, 2063 visitors have come to page 2 eventually from page 1. And in the break down visual 1522 visitors are there. How is this difference coming? I understand that fallthrough will show the immediate next hit before they reach page 2. So if 2063 visitors eventually reach page 2, how can the visitors with immediate next hit count be lower? I have read the below community question but could not understand. I tried to load the 650MB tsv file (~300K rows and ~1.5K columns) in Google Sheets and appears is too much for it to handle.I loaded it in R Studio but I have yet to add the header.Any advice on how to either add header and other lookups on R Studio? Alternatively, how do you/would you do such QA?Thanks!R
