Adobe Analytics

I want to do a report on a particular product sku, but the calculated metric builder uses hit level segments which don't work with merchandising evars. Example:I want to know what percentage of sales are gift wrapping.  In Workspace I can add a filter on Product, which brings back the correct table. But if I try to make a calculated metric, it automatically creates a hit level segment, which then includes all products in the order that had gift wrapping:   Is there a way to do a calculated metric which will look at just the units based on the values in the merchandising evar, rather than the hit level? Thanks Ben 

Question: We have various Adobe Analytics Users with the AA Product Profile of: 1) Super Admin.We are considering removing this access from select users whom we do not intend to have Adobe Analytics Admin access, however we are not sure if doing this will carry over implications to other Adobe Platforms. Can you please advise, if we remove the Super Admin access in AA from select users, could their access to other Adobe Products such as: Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe APIs/AWS, etc., become impacted or deprecated? Also, are there any other impacts which might be experienced which we haven’t considered?

How do I know if I have cleared the exam which I wrote 24 hours back? After the completion of the exam, I got a message saying, "Congratulations, you are provisionally .....". What does this mean?

I had my Power BI report connected to the adobe analytics connector and now the connector is not working. The table is coming up empty. I have tried clearing cache and running a new report in and out of my work network and still not working. How can I solve this problem or can it even get solved?

Since Adobe Analytics has front-end implementation, anyone can copy your tracking script or entire page source and use it on their domain. How to prevent tracking calls made from domain other than you own. May be something like not considering those calls so as to save tracking call cost and keep the data clean?Thank you,

Hello! Is a way to share AA workspace reports and projects to external users who do not have access to the AA UI?

Hello,  One of our marketing channel (channel A) has become the second order contributor from a Last touch channel standpoint over the past year and I would like to understand how this channel impacts the other marketing channels. I would like to build a have a view of the various paths where "Channel A" is one of the touch points : "Channel A" only = 75% of the orders"Channel A" then "Channel B" = 10% of the orders"Channel C" then "Channel A" then "Channel B" = 5% of the orders......Do you think that this kind of thing would be doable with the Attribution IQ feature ? Thank you for your thoughts and your help.

I just saw that "Coorperations" is being listed under last touch channels. This term did not appear previously. I wonder what is the meaning of this term.

Hi Team,I am trying to pull DaySinceLastVisit(DSLV) for a userID. As per the DSLV, a userID must have a day/days since last visit, only one row of data may be 0day or 1 day or 2 days. But I am seeing in the report, same userID have 0day,1day, 2day,... My question is how come a UserID have multiple DSLV values? Please help me. Thanks,Dinesh  

Hi Team, I would like to know how exactly we need to capture data from internal audience i.e., from our own employees. Yes, we have excluded the traffic from internal audience. We have separate report suite excluding internal audience and also we have another report suite for both internal and external audience. Here we want to capture only internal audience now. I can see dimension called "IP Address" but that functionality is not working under the segments.  How we can implement this change to enable this segment? Any suggestion on this?  Thanks in advance.

I've added the event Core - Data Element Change and in custom code consoling it out. The data element name is 'form Abandonment' and js object is digitalData.form.formAbandonmentif(digitalData.form.formAbandonment != ""){console.log("Refresh case:"+_satellite.getVar("form Abandonment"));return true;} else {console.log("Not updated");return false;}I tried consoling out the same value in datalayer and I'm getting the right values for both js and satellite object. Hello,Here the thing, when I created my Freeform Table in the workspace I selected my segments, then a metric & a dimension.The table shows me the sum of the volume of my metric (on the first line of my dimension). Then there is all the rows just under. When I extracted the table in CSV and in Excel, I do myself the sum, it appears that there is a huge gap of volume, with much more volume in my Excel...I tried to understand, but it appears that the more specific is my metrics (Day -> hour -> minute) the more raws I have & the bigger is the difference.You will the see concretely in the screens associated, that I have 25972 "visits" on the 15 of June and when I did my Excel extract I finally get 107 824 "visits" !Does someone had the same issue or is it specific to my data ?

Is it possible for Adobe to count download link clicks as Exits, especially the file opens in a new window.  i realize that Adobe should first and foremost count the download link because its linktype = d, but i don't understand why i see exits measured against download urls.  i'm trying to understand the scenario of why.

Hi all Anyone can tell me the definition of Users (Mobile) and App User how are they counted?I see the number, at least in our case, of Unique Visitors is the same than Users (Mobile) and App User, so I checked the definition of Unique Visitors: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/analytics/components/metrics/unique-visitors.html?lang=en#unique-visitorsBut, it is not clear how these metrics are counted. I'm especially curios to know how these metrics are counted if the app is the background.I appreciate if anyone can give a definition and criteria of these metrics. Cheers, Gus

Hi, We are able to see different version of URLs. In workspace, Example: www.example.com/home.html > proper one we also able to see www.example.com//home.html (with double slash because of Typed/Bookmarked dimension majorly. Some traffic from referring domains too. It not only displaying for home page. It is coming for category and sub category pages too.  NOTE: Adobe image request/call is happening even with double, triple, infinity slash for all the page in the website. So that we able to receive data to ADOBE workspace with different version of URLs for same page. I hope, this can be avoided by configuring under DOMAIN level going forward. Example kind of 301 permanent redirection or any other URL structure setup. Please let us know whether I'm on the same page or is there anything can be done under tool end too. I hope CMS- domain level change is pretty straight forward to avoid this type of issue even with other tools. Thanks! @

Hi All, I am not so much looking for the solution (yet) but more if it can be achieved. Is it possible to manage update the dimensions using the API (in a similar way that segments can be updated)? Looking at the API reference it doesn't look like you can - but I have also heard that this document is missing large bits of information. Thanks
