Hello Adobe product team,I'd like to request a feature about which my colleagues have already discussed with Adobe Client Care. As stated in the title, creating an own metric in Workspace results in an empty data row. This empty data row appears for a time frame previous to the selected time frame, as you can see in the picture below:Client Care stated that this "lookback window" is working as designed. The problem for us is that this presentation leads to the assumption that data in regular reports are missing. This is a a huge issue for us, since colleagues who are not familiar with this can be confused. Therefore, an option to hide this "lookback window" would be helpful.Kind regards,Patrick

In Analysis Workspace, provide a new table type called “Details Table”.  I would think this would be on the level of Freeform Table.  From there dimensions and metrics can only be applied across the top It would treat everything at the Hit level.  Dimensions that are Visitor/People level would align automatically to the left, Visit level would be to the right of Visitor/People and Hit level dimensions and metrics would always be right most.Hits would be sorted and grouped by Visitor, Visit and Hit in chronological order.  There should be some type of shading to show the groupings.Any Visitor or Visit level values would repeat itself for each Hit in their respective Visitor or Visit grouping (note that Data Workbench does not repeat the value for each Hit but I think it should to make it easier to create Pivot Tables after exporting to Excel).Allow up to ten dimensions/metric combinations.  Any dimension or metric could be applied.  It would be great if the

Please please PLEASE provide a better interface for managing existing processing rules.   Our options are 1) wholesale wipe and overwrite everything to target rsids2) append individual PRs to target rsids But there is no "overview" to see which PRs are currently where.  So let's say I have 100 rsids, and they are grouped up in different groups.  And I have some "global" PRs common to all of them.  So I add a PR and append to all.  What happens when I need to update later?  My choices are: a) Append a NEW PR that overwrites the previous one.  This is not good, because we're supposed to write PRs to passively pop stuff as a best practice (e.g. "if not set, then set")  b) Go through every rsid individually and update/delete the PR Neither one of these options are good.   Also, currently PRs are not exposed with Rest/Soap APIs so I can't just make my own interface  Ideally I want a PR management inter

Currently within Analysis Workspace, there is the ability to use the "cumulative" function to get a running total of a metric, such as unique visitors, over a period of time and divide within that period of time, such as by month. In Workspace projects we often need to re-create the same, sometimes really complex, panels.It would be really beneficial to be able to save a panel for later use in another project in a repository, or just be able to copy the panel from one workspace project to another.This could also be expanded, so that panels could be created/edited by utilising a scripting language, for example Lua.

Hi Team,Reaching out here for basically a 'Product enhancement' so as to help client leverage the Alerts functionality(within Analytics) better.The ask is to trigger an alert(notify a registered user on the client side) when the current day's data falls by more than a particular percentage(say 30%) when compared to the same metric number for the same day last week. For example: We would like to compare today's visits data(Tuesday) with last Tuesday's data.Based on my understanding, this cannot be configured based on the current set of available configurations. Feel free to add to this if necessary.Any thoughts/ideas/workarounds are most welcome.

Currently we cannot add list var settings as column selections on the Report Suites page in Admin. I would love that to be  enabled!It would be awesome to have the Customize Columns (top right) have List Vars as an option when filtering Report Suites.

I would like a option to see the maintenance time information based on my own timezone. Or as a minimum it should show what timezone it is based on.

I've been doing a series of Workspace workshops with groups of people who are not familiar with Analytics at all. In my workshops, I cover basic concepts, implementation and, of course, how to create projects in WS. However, the biggest difficulty I see from these folks is to be able to tell what are the page names they need to use to create flows, fallouts and page reports. Although they have internal documentation with these details, they are not available to everyone and not so easily accessible.My suggestion would be to allow the customer to upload screenshots for their pages to Analytics and these screenshots show up when you hover over the dimension details in WS. So when a business user is not sure if that's the page they're looking for, then can do a quick check looking at the image and they don't have to go through a bunch of excel or powerpoint files to make sure they're picking the right one.The images could be pulled from AEM Assets as well.

After enabling Activity Map configuration for a report suites, uses should be able to disable it as well. Or at least a warning message should be added to show up when enabling it stating "You would not be able to disable it once enabled".Use case for this which we saw recently was that when users identify that there are PII present in the links which are automatically being tracked by Activity Map, they want to get it disabled, but aren't able to.Obviously there is a solution by removing the Activity Map code from the pages, but that is not an immediate solution for many and can be delayed due to deployment cycles.

I'm obsessed with documentation and I see the power of descriptions for new users. Sometimes custom dimensions are hard to explain and I have to give detailed examples (in descriptions) what you can do in reporting with certain eVars etc and many times I get the red text saying description is too long in admin section. Also, GDPR is coming and there is pressure to explain more detailed way what and why we collect custom information and since many tend to pull dimensions with descriptions to SDR document automatically through admin section, it would be useful to write better descriptions directly to admin section and no need to do seperate work in SDR.Anyone else struggling with this or does this sounds something you would want to support?

It would be a great feature if you would be able to distinguish which evars, props, and events are being set in specific Data Elements and Rules via the search fields in Launch.

IssueDeleting data is incredibly problematic (and expensive!) in Adobe analytics. One of the impacts is on our agility - we have several dimensions that are tied up as they contain historic data that is no longer relevant and we are waiting for that data to disappear through the standard data retention deletion process before we reuse - This is something we really struggle with. RequirementsThe requirement is to be able to quickly re-purpose variables/dimensions, thus increasing the flexibility/agility of the Adobe Analytics tool. For this scenario the requirement is to prevent end users seeing the historical data (rather than deleting the data).  Therefore I was wondering if there was an alternative approach which would allow us to free up dimensions quickly for new purposes.   Possible solution?The problem with deleting data seems to be unpicking all the processing that has happened.  My thinking is this unpicking could be avoided by having virtual variables (much like a "virtual tra

In most cases, folks create new Bot Rules specifically because they've uncovered a bot that has been messing with their data... unfortunately, by the time you've identified the problem and created the rule, it's too late: the bot has already done damage.The workarounds are pretty drastic- applying a segment to every report, or moving entirely into a Virtual Report Suite that doesn't include the bot traffic retroactively.Bot rules working on historical data would be a huge help.

I have an abandonment fallout path I need to create where visitors start Checkout Start>go to any page(s) BUT Thank You>start Checkout Start again>then Thank You page.  The trick is that I can't just put the Checkout start twice because there needs to be at least one page in between them (rather than a reload).Rather than create a sequential segment and drop into the checkpoint, it would be great to be able to have a condition of NOT as a stand alone in addition to Eventual Path and Next Hit.  That way we could create Checkout Start>NOT-Thank You>Checkout Start>Thank YouAlso it would be great to have a Next Visit condition as well.  It would have to be available only if the Visitor option is selected.  An example would be Checkout Start>NOT-Thank You>Next Visit-Checkout Start>Thank YouIt's certainly different than the NOT condition, but would be useful for helping to understand multi-visit situations.

While it is handy to be able to search for pages containing certain text, it would be good to also be able to filter based on a metric. I imagine this can be accomplished with some complicated segments but this would be much simpler and more dynamic.For example, filter to show only pages which have more than 100 page views, or pages which have a bounce rate of >50%, or pages which have contributed a certain amount of users to a certain conversion event. In some situations, this column could then potentially not be included in the table, freeing up space.On top of this, it would be great if the column totals updated when filters are applied, almost as if a segment had been used on the table.

We are making extensive use of virtual report suites to manage the way we share & present data throughout our organisation.However, the lack of support for Data Sources potentially wreaks havoc on our carefully planned virtual report suites strategy.The problem is that every time a user requires access to the data uploaded via data sources (e.g. e-mail sent, opened, bounced etc.) we have to open up access to the underlying report suite completely bypassing our carefully curated virtual report suites.Please can you consider adding support for Data Sources to Virtual Report Suites?

It would be great if we could enable/disable, create, and edit Alerts via API.Enable/disable would help customers keep them relevant and work around the "have to delete 12 meaningless Alerts every morning" effect.Create/edit on top of that would allow better integration with Enterprise systems.

Our use case requires the creation of bulk segments (10s of thousands of identifiers) and frequent maintenance of the same. Can you build this functionality akin to an excel upload?

The Analytics Data Feed is only available over SFTP to port 22.  It would be more convenient if the user could specify other ports.

When you use "transfer" feature of user management for following objects there is a column "Shared":- Bookmarks- Dashboards- Calendar EventsThis is fine.For following objects there is NO column "Shared":- Calculated metrics- Segments- ProjectsWe would like to have for all kind of object the column "Shared" with yes/no info. Background:Before we delete a user we have to be sure that this user did not share something which will be missed by other others after user deletion.So currently we only have half of the truth. We have to check manually if the user shared calculated metrics/segments/projects.So this is time consuming currently and should be easy to fix for Adobe.

I created a VRS and hand picked the different elements to put inside. I was quite surprised that the Activity Map doesn't work for those type of VRS. It would be nice that it works as it can be very useful to use VRS as main report suite for basic users. Also when creating a new metrics, it is quite misleading to use the segment as they are marked as "not contained in the ...VRS name."As I know that I hand picked them, they are contained but basic users are misleaded. The erosion of third-party cookie support has had a substantial impact on how companies interact with their audience. Apple's rollout of Intelligent Tracking Prevention (ITP), for example, impacts analytics data collection as well as ad targeting. There are methods to check whether a website visitor has disabled third-party cookies, but these often require a level of site access that won't work for marketers who only have access to a tag manager. It would be great if Adobe provided an out-of-the-box solution that indicates whether a website visitor has enabled or disabled third-party cookies. This is different than the Cookie Support report, which indicates whether cookies are supported at all.

Hi guys,Background:People using Virtual Report Suite Report suite get the "Component may not appear" alert every time they try to save a new segment / metric / date range which is not centrally added to VRS by the team supporting the implementation.Acceptance criteria:In many other alerts Adobe displays "do not show me this alert anymore", therefore we would appreciate the tick box under the given alert which will allow to not show the alert again.Many thanks for your support on that,Best regards,Jakub
