Adobe Analytics

Dear community,I'm trying to integrate the spa page with Adobe Client Data Layer. Before adopting SPA project, I used "com.adobe.cq.wcm.core.components.models.datalayer.ComponentData" in SlingModels, and set relevant information with DataLayerBuilder. In so doing I can use htl to embed data layer in my component html like this:      <a data-cmp-data-layer="${item.componentData.json}" href="#" ></a>   Since SPA page development doesn't require htl, is ACDL still an option to collect page data? Or is there any package can handle this?Thanks in advance!

Hi, i am not able to find pageview data for some pages on adobe analytics I am able to see the data being collected on adobe plugin but data is not being collected   Also while debugging for the condition "isPageView" its mentioned False   Any idea why this is happening?  

Hi,We have a requirement where we need to track number of add-ons made on top of a room booking (  add-ons are something like breakfast, car park etc.)There can be multiple quantities of add-on in a single booking ( for ex, 2 breakfasts and 1 car park. so total of 3). When we used event, it didnt work as it's a counter(It showed quantity as 1). We also tried with numeric event but it still didn't work.A workaround that we did was to get the quantity value in an eVar( got the qty value from Data layer)Now for consumption of reports, we would need to put add-on names in rows and addon revenue, addon quantity in columns. Since addon qty is an eVar here, we thought of creating a metric with eVar. However, eVars can be used only as segments in metrics and not as a metric, although events can be made into metrics.How do we solve this?Appreciate any help.

Hi, I'm trying to calculate a count of customer id's that have logged in on different devices. I've used approx count distinct to give me a count of customers id's that have logged in but I'm trying to take it one step further and would like a count of customers id's where they've logged in on both a mobile and desktop device. Any suggestions on if this is possible and solution would be appreciated.  Thanks,  Josh  

Hi,   I'm working with a customer who is having issues trying to send a scheduled project to manually entered email recipients. External recipients are users who are not currently setup as a user in the admin console.  Users who are setup within the console, and added to the distribution list, are able to receive the report. Based on the documentation this should work. We have checked with IT to confirm the emails are not being blocked. Hi Folks,   Problem statement: Currently on my company website, we have the page name getting captured as the page URL itself, or in some cases, we are passing the custom page name value. In both cases, we have a value of more than 100 characters and in some cases, more than 255 characters.   The solution in evaluation: rather than passing that much long value from a website, I plan to pass a unique id for each page as a page name, and then use the classifications in adobe analytics to have an additional detail like page name.   As I am working on the classification rule for the first time, I have a few points to confirm: 1. do we have any character limitations concerning the values we import in classification? 2. is my approach correct for the problem in hand?   Thanks, Nitesh

Has anyone seen this error before? It just started today, but whenever anyone on my team clicks the info icon (either in the components menu or in a free form table), on a custom/calculated metric, it gives this error. And the pop up that normally shows the definition of the metric is blank. But none of us have seen this before/know what it means.

Hi,   I am trying to create a chart that shows us the growth over a month for example   So if we had 50 by the end of the month, how has that grown over the course of the month i.e. did 49 of them come on the first day of the month and so on   Is this possible? I looked in the forums and found one way using calculated metrics but that didn't work as it just seemed to add up the user figures each day   Thanks

Hi there all,   So I am in a bit of a pickle with this one!    I am trying to do the following - Take two types of customer (Web & Mobile) in two separate columns (by visit) and what I would like to do is take each user id that has a "login" count of 1 or more in each, to show.   If either Mobile or Web has a zero in the user ID row, then I would want it to be excluded as a record to view.   Something like;   So that the second row can be excluded - I've tried different variations of segment builders and tried to see if I can use filter, but I'm coming up short! I'm trying to generate a free form table that displays people who visited my site for the first time in the past 6 months.  If I use your First Time Visits dimension, does that truly represent people that have never visited? I see that the description for the First Time Visits = 0, but I want to be really sure about interpreting this to be First Time Ever if I want to isolate to the past 6 months.  I need to be able to answer the question "How many of our visitors are new to our website in the past 6 months?"

Hi, Problem/Usecase : I wanted to analyse purchase behaviour of visitors who had visits <=6 in a time period Condition 1 : Who are the visitors who had <= 6 visits in last 6 months of 2022 (i.e July'22 to Dec'22) [Low Engagement Users] Condition 2 : What is the number of units purchased by these Low Engaged Users in January 2023   Things I have tried :  I have set the time duration to 7 months (July'22 to Jan'23) in the panel. I created a visitor level segment as shown in the image     But this segment is wrong for the reason below As it is a visitor level segment, Mistake 1 : It sees in the complete time duration (7 months) I should have less than 6 visits. (This is wrong because I wanted last 6 months only) As a visitor level segment satisfies the condition in the complete time duration.   I hope I was able to articulate the problem correctly. I am looking for creation of the right segment. My hunch is we might require 2 segments

On the "Previous Page Flow Report" from Adobe Analytics, what is the source of the "entered site" traffic

Hi,   We are getting the unique visitor count via Apps is 4 times higher than the Customer ID count. which means each unique Customer is being counted as 4 unique visitors. Ideally it should be 1:1 until a user reinstalled the app.Any advice would be useful here.

Hi there,    I copied one report to create a second one, then changed the Page URL quick segment to the relevant webpage, but I noticed that whenever I update the URL in one of the reports the change is somehow applied to the other report as if both are somehow linked.    Does anyone know what's going on and how can I disconnect the reports?   Thanks   N.

I currently have a segment at the VISITOR level where Page Name DOES NOT CONTAIN pricing. However, when I build a freeform table in Workspace, and break down Page Name by Unique Visitors, pricing pages still show up. The only way to get the segment to work is at the hit-level, which makes no sense since Visitor is so much more broad. What can be the issue here?

Hi,Our's Activity map has lowered down in last quarter. What are the possible ways to troubleshoot to find out why this has happened? 

I wonder where I can see in Adobe Analytics (Admin Rights) which attribution modell is in use?Or did I understand another user correctly who said that the attribution is based on how I create the metrics.But isnt there also some kind of overall setting which says e.g. "attribution modell is last-touch"?Thanks!
