Hi,Our team tries to update our tracking code classification and the processing rules as well, but we also want to keep our retroactive data.We have two options: 1.Edit the conversion classification in the existing report suites as well as the rule set (concerned about losing retroactive data). 2.Duplicate both related report suites and tracking code rule set, and make changes to the copies.My question: 1.Which option would you recommend?2.If I go with the second method, is it possible to have the new rule set as a second Tracking Code Dimension in workspace. Ok So I just spent an hour trying to create monthly copies of our projects to save in a folder.  I know i can adjust filters and export into PDF's and have them but we have insights sections for adding text and I want to be able to preserve old copies for future use.   So I was hitting copy/save as on an existing project and renaming them to the proper month.  From there I was adjusting my filters for each project to be monthly specific on my free form tables/data sources.  Well an hour into this, I realized that ANY time i changed a filter or date range on a free form table for my dashboard that that filter then applied across ALL copies/saved as versions of this project.  I'm ready to pull my hair out over this.  Is this really how this product is supposed to function? Or am I hitting an issue?I need to be able to create copies that are separate from the original that doesnt have the filters linked to the original - IE i make a change to januar

Is there a way to see how many visits it takes a user to purchase? We are looking for a way to determine visits per order. We want to count the number of visits per visitor that did order.

Hi, I have a query about data layer implementation, more specifically the Adobe Client Data Layer as recommended for new and / or restructured data layer. In brief... is there any benefit to using the object name adobeDataLayer? We have existing data layers which use a different object name (digitalData) and it would be simpler to keep the object name (i.e. window.digitalData = window.digitalData || []😉  ... but would doing this cause us problems or increase technical debt elsewhere down the line? Thanks!

Hello, If an eVar is set to a particular value, e.g. eVar132="some-value" and then later in the visit, this same evar132 is explicitly set to "some-value", will this be counted as two instances of the eVar, even though their values are the same? I ask because some of my eVars have what seem to me to be wildly inflated instance counts. These variables are set to a single value per visit and not changed.  Thanks. mp

Hi! I am trying to exclude additional users agents which we found were bots. We have over 40 of these user agents for each month starting in 2021, so it would be very manual to upload 1 by 1. Equals Any Of is comma delimited but the user agent contains multiple commas throughout. For example I have user agent 1 which is something like google, linux, 78.92020 and user agent 2 which is like apple, webx, 80.3930. When I try to exclude these using equals any of it thinks that it is 6 conditions rather than 2. I have tried to wrap them in quotation marks but it didn't exclude them. Does anyone have any advice? Thank you so much in advance this would be a time saver as every month we need to update this filter.

Hi,I have a traffic variable (prop1) with Label "Step".Once created that traffic variable, automatically Adobe added Entry Step(prop1) and Exit Step (prop1).I have a Virtual Report Suite (Production VR) where I cannot add these "Entry Step (prop1)" and "Exit Step (prop1" variable.Even If I go and search I'm not able to add Entry Step(prop1) and Exit Step (prop1)I can create a new Virtual Report suite and add without problems these variables, but not in the previous Virtual Report Suite. Someone can explain to me this strange behavior? Regards,Alex

Hi guys, as many others out there we're looking for ways to exclude bot traffic. After a little research I found out that you can enable the IAB Bot Filtering Rules in the Report Suite settings. I was wondering if this rule has any impact on my traffic but I can't find any built-in IAB bot segment. Is there a way to set a segment for IAB bots?Does anybody know if the IAB list is still relevant and updated monthly as the IAB website claims? "Established and launched in 2006 by ABC and the IAB US, it is a list of known robotic user agents that is updated and shared with subscribers each month." Hello,I am using Datalayer to pull up my different site section pages of the website for reporting. However, not sure why my home page and search page are coming up for all the segments even though the home page and search page are not tagged with that data object. For example, I have a product category called "Revolve" which has 1000 pages and I am using a data layer to pull all those pages via launch DOM-ready configurations in a manner that every time "Revolve" page category pages are loaded then launch will look into my data layer if the data object called product category = "Revolve" exists then it will pass that product category info to my merchandising eVar(which I am using as segment to all pages that belongs to page category "Revolve")  However, I am facing an issue that my home page and my search pages are coming for this segment even though they are not tagged with data object {product category = "Revolve"} Any thoughts on this kind of issue? Thanks,JS

Hello,Recently, our team noticed that our Data Collection Tags libraries are not being built to our Stage Publish site when building the library to the Staging environment. The library, however, is being built to our Stage Author site. Previously, the library would be successfully built to both sites. This issue is slowing down UAT of new Tags Rules.I am able to verify this by observing the Launch files post-build from the Sources section of my browser's dev tools.We are using an Akamai Host. Upon talking with relevant team members, nothing has changed recently with our Property, Host, or Staging Environment.Looking at our host and environments, it seems there are not many configuration options for an Akamai host connection. Is there a way we can restore the connection to Stage Publish for the Tags Staging environment? Any guidance is greatly appreciated!Thank you,Corrinne

We are seeing counts that are drastically different as one system is using eVar for page name tracking and another system is using prop for page name tracking. Regarding page name tracking, which is preferred, eVar or prop? Why? 

In my organization, there is one specific funnel which is missing all data from the steps on web. The server call (custom link) is visible in Adobe Exp Platform Debugger, Omnibug and the extension Debugger for Adobe Analytics, and has 200 status on the network tab. All the eVars & props that should be there are there on all three of these debuggers. However, the Image Request URL for the server call is missing all of this data. The query string is limited to "?p.&debug=true&.p" whereas for the other server calls, the string contains all the prop and evar values. When looking at the related call on the network tab, I see 2 tabs under "payload", the first being "Query String Parameters" and the second being "Request Payload". The "request payload" string contains all the data, but this data is not in the query string parameters and is therefore not delivered to AA. See screenshot below. Any suggestions for why this is happening would be appreciated. Feel free to request more

Hi all, I've set up simple tables and bar charts to show me popular downloads.  The lowest values in these tables show 1 download.  Is there a way to see download URLs that get 0 uses?  Or does Adobe Analytics not know a download URL exists until it is used at least once? Thanks,Kit

Hi community,I am looking to understand what percent of site visitors, on average, use ad-blocking or privacy-related browser extensions (or have other browser settings enabled) that block them from being tracked and reported on in Adobe Analytics.I have done some Googling and it looks like a rough consensus for the blocking of Google Analytics pixels is ~10% to ~20% of site visitors so, assumedly, Adobe Analytics would fall roughly in line with that. Also, I have looked at some ecommerce metrics for a site I work on wherein each purchase has a sequential Transaction ID, and it looks like we are capturing ~80% of said transactions in Adobe Analytics (meaning ~20% are being blocked/not captured), which would seem to further support the above rough estimate.Just seeing if anyone in the community has any data, research, or other insight to support/refute the range I listed above, or which points to a different %.Thanks as always, y'all rock!!

Where do you go in order to change how an eVar or a prop is set up? I'm looking to change the expiration of an eVar. Where do you go to change this setting?
