Adobe Analytics

I have a situation where we are migrating a number of digital properties (web and mobile apps) off of Adobe Analytics and onto Adobe CJA.  We would like to retain AA historical data within CJA, and so we are thinking to use the Source Data Connector to pull data from AA to AEP/CJA.  After that, future data would be collected via WebSDK and transmitted to AEP via XDM.  From a CJA perspective, the ideal state would be the ability to create Analysis Workspace projects and panels containing data from both historical and ongoing collected data (via WebSDK > AEP) in one table or visualization, irrespective of how it came into CJA.  A simple example of this might be a listing of site visits broken down by month; for this example, let's assume that 10/1/23 was a cutover date from AA to AEP/CJA.  A user would be able to create a simple report in Workspace by selecting the Visits/Session metric (or whatever we've named it in the CJA Data View) and the Month

Hello There,I'm trying to calculate the entry page visits for clickstream data using SQL, but I'm receiving inconsistent results when attempting to reconcile with Adobe Analytics data. Please find below SQL query for the same,select dd, count( distinct ( concat ( post_visid_high, post_visid_low, visit_num, visit_start_time_gmt ) ) ) as visits from `clickstream` where yy = 2023 and mm = 06 and entry_page_type = 'product page' and visit_page_num = = 1 group by ddI also tried using prev_page fields but still the results are different. Hello,I'm working with a client who wants to integrate their Adobe Analytics data into Tableau.  I have looked into Daexus but I do not have the admin credentials needed to connect and test it at this time.  So before I go asking for higher permissions, I would like to consider all possible options.  Let's assume that the customer DOES NOT have an accessible DB (like redshift, bigquery, etc) to connect and push data to.  What options are out there?

I was contemplating on the natural variance in values that occur in day and month breakdown of metrics. I was thinking about how filtering for work week can make daily variances easier to look at and then extended the idea to how the same could be done for monthly breakdowns. The average month is 30.42 days long with about 8.5 weekend days, which gives an average workday month of 22 days. These wish list dimensions would, for Average Month, bucket data in 30.42 day chunks, and for Average Workweek Month, filter out the weekends and divide the remaining data into 22 day chunks, each flattening out month-on-month variation.Is there a practical way to do this now with the tools available in the Analytics Workspace?

However, how can I retrieve the values in Launch to forward this information to Adobe Analytics an put it in Evars?Do I need to utilize Adobe Analytics processing rules for this purpose? Hello Adobe Community, I am currently navigating through a challenge regarding tracking and understanding our referring domains and conversion rates, and would greatly appreciate your insights. Our company utilizes a booking engine, and due to our strict Privacy Policy, we are unable to implement any direct tracking mechanisms like pixels or GTM. Our tracking capabilities are primarily through reports provided by the Company using Adobe Analytics. From our reports, the Top 5 Referring Domains to our booking engine are:Our Official WebsiteTyped/BookmarkedFacebook.comGoogle.comUnknownWe utilize bit.ly for the links we post on Facebook and in our Facebook Ads. A couple of points have piqued our curiosity and we're hoping to gain some clarity: Conversion Rate Discrepancy: We observe a notably low conversion rate from Facebook.com compared to a significantly higher rate from Typed/Bookmarked. Is it possible that bit.ly links are influencing these metrics, and if so, how?

We have an eVar that takes the pageURL on each hit. If it works correctly, we expect it to have a specified URL for each page view server call, but there are a significant amount of page views with an unspecified pageURL lately. What could be the cause of this?  

We have been incurring secondary server calls and a support representative recently suggested that it was not the result of VISTA rules. Where can we check if we have any level of multi-suite tagging? We are under the impression that we do not use multi-suite tagging, and that we instead use global and virtual report suites.

Hello, do someone can help us with this question? We're isolating with event v13 the internal searches, it means search query in website internal search bar.When we applicate the event v13 and we isolate the only "suggestion" the value returned should include only occurrences related to query suggestion which are available on the website - while adobe returns also query suggestions which are not available on the related website. We give you an exemple to make it easier: we want to see only all click by users on internal search bar website suggestions (so we want to exclude direct query digits by users), so what we do is: we use v13 "internal search keyword" and we filter only "search results_ suggestion" . The issue is that the results returned contemplated suggestions that does not exist on our website. Could you help us solving the issue or, in alternative, understand why this issue occurs? Thank you

Hi everyone, I have a scenario where a user can comes to a website and do some action by which "event x" will trigger. Is there a way we can count this event in a way like they come everyday (From Sunday till Saturday) and do action event x will trigger but we will only count that user as 1 else 0 (If they didn't come in any single day). I have tried via segments but it didn't work, any other help (Like segments or calculated metrics) is really appreciated.Attaching an excel which demonstrates this example that gives more clarity.

I was wondering if someone could help me with my workspace.I am getting a lot of page name / page URL that are unspecified (as occurences/visits/page view). I have a page, A, which users can land on either directly, or from CTAs on pages B, C, D, and E.What I am trying to understand is the best way to summarize the number of visitors who land on page A from each of the other pages B-E. What would be the best way to do this? With a segment? If so, how? Suppose furthermore that I don't have the evars corresponding to CTA interactions, I just want to create a segment that summarizes the number of visits and number of visitors who arrive on page A, and were on each of pages B, C, D and E immediately before. Though I understand this could means they could have been on Page B, then directly typed in the web address for Page A, I am not too concerned as this will likely form a very negligible minority of the traffic. Thanks in advance

Business Question: Do users start from the beginning, or are they picking up from a certain point in the video asset? Can we identify when the user started viewing content (VOD)? Adobe gives us time watched, so if someone watched 10 minutes of a movie on a specific date, we want to know if the user was watching from the start or picking up from a certain point they last got to or want to start viewing. Is there a way to measure and report this? I am using Adobe Heartbeat. This should be easy.
