Adobe Analytics

Hi Team,I have a basic question related to eVars and events, I'm new to Adobe Analytics so wanted to understand this scenario.    We have one eVar1 to track the position of different components on pages of website and we have corresponding event1 also when user clicks on those components. Now we have one event2 to track the add to cart action and event3 to track the remove from cart action and in these both user actions we need to track the position of the added/removed product also So I want to know if  can I use the same eVar1 to track the product position when product is added to and remove from cart and here would be no impact on reporting ?I could use the corresponding event against this eVar1 to get the data in workspace for the particular scenario (component clicked, cart adition and cart removal) and by using same eVar in above three scenarios will not mix up the data. Thank you.

The KPI we are trying to track in CJA is as follows: The subset of users who’s profile attribute registered changed from false to true, as a consequence of an email being sent out from a journey. The data we have available for this KPI is as follows:Feedback Status: Status of the email send event; will be of type string from AJO Message Feedback Table, and the values can be: sent, bounce, etcRegistered: whether or not a user has registered; will be of type Boolean from an AJO Custom Profile Schema, and the values can be: false, trueWe have tried sequential filters to filter out these users. The filter was oriented as follows: Registered = trueThenFeedback Status = sentThenRegistered = false But because registered is a profile attribute, anytime the attribute is update, no recollection of its previous value is kept, and thus the users who follow this pattern are not being picked up. Any Ideas on how to orient this KPI?

To implement AEPAssurance in IOS. This requires upgrading ACPCore from version 2.8.1 to 2.9.0 and removing ACPGriffon. Does it ensure a smooth implementation?

hi,  is there a way to Get Weekly Unique Visitor count on adobe analytics dashboard for every week over a large timeframe, without having to manually create a new date range for every week? 

We created a SSO Federated ID.  I changed identity types for one user via csv.  She disappeared from the list of users and now shows as the single user in our new Federated directory within the Admin Console. She was prompted to sign on using OKTA when she tried to login.  She was able to login successfully but then gets this error message.  Any ideas on what I need to do? 

Dear Team,I would like to know that In the Google Tech there is a thing called "consent mode" which helps to model conversions and close the gap between real conversions and conversions visible in Analytics. Is there anything similar like this for Adobe?

Context: we have a set of users who may or may not have registered for a portal. The profile attribute that tracks this registration is called Registered. When registered is equal to True, it means the user has registered, and when it is False it indicates that the user has not registered. Here are 2 attributes of interest: Registered attribute change date: The date the register profile attribute changed from False to True. This field is of type Date Time and is found in a custom profile schema in AJO. Hi guys, I am fairly new to using the Data Sources API and have jusr created a NodeJS importer that queries GSC data and is pushing that data into a data source. Data import works great so far, and I have imported all 2023 data.  My client has a fairly big website with large numbers of entries per day (25k+) that requires breaking the import into multiple chunks per day (typically 3) which leaves me at 1000k import jobs so far.To not accidentally import the same day data twice, I have created a failsafe that is first querying previous job names to see whether the planned day to import has already been processed. This I do using the GetJobs functionhttps://api.omniture.com/admin/1.4/rest/?method=DataSources.GetJobsAnd here is where the issues start. This function only returns a maximum of 1000 jobs and my imports run twice because previous imports cannot be detected. Hi, I'm using the Analytics API to create projects from templates. Using naming conventions, I'm trying to share the project to the correct user group. To get the group id (as required parameter for the /share endpoint) I'm querying the user management API. I'm getting the correct group, but providing the id to /componentmetadata/shares gives an Error EXTERNAL_API_ERROR: Could not find imsPlcId=null, groupId=XXX in globalId=XXXX Using the swagger api  (/componentmetadata/shares/component/search) to debug things, I'm retrieving group id's that does not match any of the group id's I receive from the user management API. Not sure if this helps, but the Analytics API-Endpoint gives me group id's that seems to have six digits, the User Management API gives me group id's that seems to have eight and more digits. The id's have nothing obvious in common.  Any hints? Best Holger 

We're attempting to update a large number of mobile projects from the ACP libraries to the AEP libraries. During the iOS build process the AEPServices library is clashing with another dependency, SQLCipher, that has been in use on these mobile projects for database encryption. As the AEPServices library uses the system SQLite3, this is problematic for SQLCipher. Sample repository demonstrating the issue: https://github.com/Chuckv01/adobe-sqlcipher-issue-reproduction  Has anyone else gotten the AEP Mobile SDKs working on an iOS project that is using SQLCipher for database encryption? This line of code in the AEPServices library causes the Redefinition of 'sqlite3_file' error when SQLCipher is also used in the project.

We are currently evaluating our options for our system making them complaint with  TCF 2.2 , and we would like to ensure that the version of AEPAnalytics we are using either has built-in compatibility with TCF 2.2 or can be made compliant with it.Could you please provide us with information regarding which version & above of AEPAnalytics supports or can be made compliant with TCF 2.2.

Assurance events are coming through but get stuck on "Queued" and never become "Processed" so we're unable to view the "Post processed and request details". It has affected both our Android and iOS implementations. Is there a current issue with Assurance?

Hello,  I want to place floodlight tag on last step of form in an iframe( say 4 steps ). On last step when you click submit I need to place floodlight tag for which i have code. And i can access buttons using iframe.content but button is on last step. There is rule which fires on domready of this page, hence i cant access that element on DOM ready and i need to write code in same rule.  Any idea about js script to solve this.

Hi,I have set up a connection to MicroStrategy using an Adobe Analytics Web OAuth API. I would like to access segments that are owned by users other than those in which authenticated to the connection. Is there a way to get all of the segments from a workspace even if they are not owned by me from the API? Thank you 

I am configuring analytics web SDK setup for one website where ACDL is implemented. In the console, I can see the data layer values populating in the data layer. However, the values are coming as 'null' when sending Web SDK events.

Hey everyone,i hope you can help me figure this one out 🙂Right now we're cleaning up our calculated metrics and segments. There are a couple of duplicates. So the "used in" info comes in handy to find out which one is used more often.Let's say we have a metric called "video starts" which is used in 3 projects. If I click on this number it opens a text box. When I click on that box it should display a list of this 3 projects. But there's no project listed. It's not for every metric. But some metrics behave this way. Has anyone experienced this before or knows what causes it? Right now I am not able to identify in which projects die "video starts" metric is used in.Thank you in advance,Miley 

Hi Community, I would like to know Why there is mismatch in Manual Addition of Visits and Adobe workspace aggregated Visits?Let's assume I have taken date range of one year in my adobe work space and have put dimension as months and Metrics as Pageviews & Visits. If I'm adding the month wise visits manually, It is always higher than Adobe Workspace aggregated Visits. Could some one explain this...

I have a campaign landing page in AEM with hyperlinks within the body of the page to other AEM pages. Is there a way to track the number of times that hyperlink is clicked on the campaign page? 

We have our B2C site integrated with shop management system, ideal scenario - a shop guy would browser our site, add to cart, view cart(clickstream stops here), but submit order from their shop system. So hoping to capture order submission alone via bulk data insertion API(BDIA) with custID or cartID(as a common key). When i went through BDIA I see an example use case, where ID/key was used to seed ECID, by flag '1'. BUT in my case I'll avoid another ECID by passing the ECID & custID or cartID(the same eVar before & after) retained from cartView step. So when I pass ECID or CartID, both as seed/key, and could I just turn down flag '0' - do not  use as ECID seed? would it work?Any inputs/ suggestion would be much appreciated. Thank you

Experiencing an issue where we have a Mobile App that has an integrated Web View (like an iframe within the app) and intermittently, analytics have dropped off on our confirmation page during our user journey. But it's only for iOS where we are seeing the discrepancy. Android and Desktop view numbers match up just fine. This began and was noticed sometime the beginning to Mid October during the 17.0.3 iOS privacy update. Which led me to suspect that update had something to do with it. Data has not risen to normal as it should and it's intermittent for iOS, however I cannot reproduce it from our end since it doesn't happen all of the time. I am hoping someone may have some insight and/or experienced something similar to this and can shed some light or any knowledge. Greatly appreciated.

Hi,Last week I did some experimentation with the "redirect URI" and "redirect URI pattern" properties of an OAuth Web credentials object. It took some trial and error to figure out the right settings.Today, when I try to authenticate, the redirect URI that I'm passing in the query string is rejected by the pattern (while it shouldn't -- it worked last Friday) and I'm redirected to a URL that I changed something like a week ago. When I'm looking at the "Activity Log" tab, I see no entry more recent than a week ago, while I actually made quite a lot of modifications after that.It looks like the credentials object properties were restored to a previous state.The most confusing thing is that the "Credentials / OAuth Web" tab shows one state (the one I want) while the "Activity log" tab shows another state (the one from last week) and it's the outdated one that seems to be actually operating.Any insight would be more than welcome!
