Has anyone noticed that the tasks have been reordering in the projects while entering a project? Do you know why this is happening and how to stop it? Thank you! Emily Byrne The Starr Conspiracy

I just had this issue here. I was able to reproduce it/make it stop by ensuring the tasks were in task number order. In the past, no matter how your tasks were sorted, clicking the add new task button would add a task to the bottom of the list, now for some reason, it will add it somewhere in the middle if NOT sorted by task number(based on what I saw). If you DO sort by task number, the add new task button works as designed and adds a new task at the bottom of the list. This is definitely catching my users off guard as they are used to just relying on the add new task button to work a certain way. And, in very complex projects with lots of subtasks, tossing a new one in the middle can create a LOT of challenges to fix. Has anyone noticed/verified if this happens when you do a "Insert Task Above" or "Insert Task Below"? I never click at the bottom to add a task. Jason Maust McGuireWoods LLP

I've used that as the work around and it woks fine. It makes the Add tasks link useless. Mark Hahn SEI Investments Company

Hi - there is still one issue that is pending (Case 24712 Lilit) where if the user uses the tab key to indent (instead of using the indent button), the numbering is gets messed up still. Not sure if this is what your users are doing, Jennifer. :) Anthony Imgrund FCB

Hi I've had a couple of users report the same issue after attaching templates in that tasks appear on the wrong order, i.e. they are being swapped around. Is this also being looked into? Has anyone else experienced this? I have raised a ticket but this is still being investigated but sounds to me that it's connected to this issue.
