Widen/Workfront Integration

Has anyone recently integrated their Workfront instance with Widen? If so, willing to share a demo or details?

Greetings! This integration process has taken an exceptionally long time, but I'm happy to connect some time in April to give you what insights our team has. I am just now getting into the testing process with them. Let me know (ayost@athene.com.)

    We finally just got our integration stood up! It too was stalled out for a long while until we finally got the attention of the right people. Then it was completed rather quickly. We set up our integration just to pull metadata from Workfront (not the assets themselves) for a number of reasons. So far we haven't pushed it live live, but seems to be working well in testing. Will go live live May 12th. 

     

    My favorite part is after the integration runs, in drops a link in the project that pulls up all the associated assets in DAM. This is a perfect link to share with our clients, or to use just for ease of finding all the stuff we did in a project later! 

    My least favorite part is it is VERY slow sometimes, takes 10-15 minutes for the data to pull over sometimes.

    If you have any questions or want to chat further let me know! We haven't tried any Fusion + Acquia yet, so no clue what works/doesn't work there unfortunately.

    Congratulations! That seems like a big win. I will loop in our Widen admin and see if she'd be interested in connecting with you. Really appreciate the update and sharing the pros and cons you are already experiencing.

    @nataliete1 @amyyo1 Hi there! We are currently implementing Acquia (Widen) DAM- do either of you have any cautionary tales to share, haha? If either of you were willing to connect I'd love to hear how you all are using the two systems in tandem!
