Hi all!
I just built a Proof Approvals report that lists every potential proof decision within a few specific programs (groupings are Approver Role > Approver Name > Document Version Decision). I noticed that under one approver's name, there was a pending approval for a proof he had been removed from a few months ago... I've had similar issues on another report as well.
Is there a way to fully remove an approver so they don't show up in reporting?
Thanks in advance!

I ran into not the same problem, but I wonder if the solution (for now) is similar. In my case, I was trying to close a ton of proofs with outstanding decisions (either by forcing decisions or demoting proof roles to a non-decision level). Some proofs weren't dropping off my list. When I queried support about it, they ran a script, which worked to clear the proofs with decisions. However, as I continue my clean-up, proofs are still getting stuck. Eventually I plan to submit another ticket to run the script again. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to the new approvals that @Daniel_Clarke mentioned.

Hey @Mikaela-Newell have you jumped into the Proofing interface directly to confirm they are removed there as well? The connection there is not always 100% today (until we get into the new approvals at EOY!)

Hi @Daniel_Clarke! Yes, there's history of two people going from "Reviewer & Approver" to "Reviewer" — their decision in my report is "-". Another person was removed entirely and still is marked as "Pending".
Ideally, the report would only pull people who currently have a Decision-maker role on the proof.

I noticed the same thing (even if users delete an approver, they show up in certain reports). I was fortunate that I could work around this because our particular use case allows me to create a filter that filters out user X (a very specific user who is getting deleted) as long as someone else in their team is assigned.
For your scenario the only thing I can think of is that (1) whoever is deleting his line in a proof workflow, also needs to set it to read only (or some other permission) before they delete that line, or (2) something I often think about is whether or not I can just convert over to using document approvals (they are not quite ready in terms of reporting and functionality, otherwise I would jump in a heartbeat.
