Track Description Changes in Update History

We've been able to set up various fields to appear in the project update tab, but have not figured out how to get changes to the description field to appear. Is there a way to track changes to the description field in a project?

Yes, this is one of the 'built-in fields' that you can track. Go to Setup > Interface > Update Feeds and select the Built-In tab. There is task description, project description, etc. available.
