Slack app - why don't all notifications come through to Slack?

This morning I have received 3x Workfront notifications via email:

 

  1. A comment on a proof (I am tagged)
  2. A new proof being uploaded (I am a Reviewer/ Approver)
  3. A comment on the Updates tab of a project (I am tagged)

In the Slack app I only received one:

 

  1. A comment on a proof (I am tagged)

I have noticed that not all notifications come through to Slack, despite me having all the notification types checked in the app settings.

Based on An update is made to a task, issue or project you are subscribed to and Someone includes you on a directed update shouldn't I at least have received a Slack notification for the comment on the Updates tab?

This sounds like something Workfront Support might be able to look into. I would submit a support ticket or have your authorized representative from your organization contact support. 

 

You should have received at least the comment you were tagged in. Based on documentation, it doesn't look like all Workfront notifications are available so that could impact the new proof but not the others.

 

  • I’m assigned to a new task or issue
  • My team is assigned to a new task or issue
  • I receive a new approval or access request
  • Someone includes me on a directed update
  • Someone comments on a thread I’m in
  • An update is made to a task, issue or project I am subscribed to (this is very specific to a. being subscribed to the object and b. only offers one type of notifications)
  • Someone comments on one of my work items
  • Someone comments on my help request
