setScheduleMode

Hello, I feel like this is something I should know, but figured getting the answer would be easier than guessing. When doing the project kick start to import projects setScheduleMode is a mandatory fill. What is the schedule mode? The ID, name, what? Thanks, Tim Tim Brooks Invicro

Hi Tim, I looked at the API Explorer and went to the Project object and found the Schedule Mode field. The field only has 2 possible values: "S", and "C". If you want your project to be scheduled from the Start Date, then type an "S" into the field. If you want your project to be scheduled from the Completion Date, then type a "C" into the field.

Another useful tip for kickstarts is to create a kick start export of projects to see how the different columns get populated. You can then use this as a reference to create your kickstart import file. Justin Renteria SSFCU
