See who is the current approver of an issue in an API call?

I have this URL currently which shows all issues which are currently in an approval chain for me, but it does not return the name of the current approver of the issue. Is there a way that I can have the current approver of the issue in the response? I cannot find it in the API explorer.

To make things more complicated, our approval stages are not currently named and sometimes its a role not a user who currently needs to approve. However, I will be happy with a partial solution if you cannot offer a full solution!
