Request template instead of draft

Is there a way to create a request template? I know we can start a request and save it as a draft but once you submit it, I can't use it to create a new request with similar information. I guess if we had an option to duplicate a draft and complete/submit a "new" request, we could go back to the original draft and submit a new request.
