Reports & Views: How can I get it stop wrapping text on Assigned To?

Our tasks and issues are often assigned to multiple team members. When looking at a View or Report where the Assigned To column is displayed, this can make the page display extremely lengthy, as one task or issue may take up several inches of real estate on your screen if the item has, say, 5 team members assigned to it. This is because WF stacks the team members' names vertically, as follows:

Assigned To

John Smith

Jane Doe

Bob Jones

I would like to know if there is a way to stop using this "wrap text"-like default, and instead display the column horizontally, as follows:

Assigned To

John Smith, Jane Doe, Bob Jones
