Project Name Field - Only shows first 18 characters?

I was wondering if we could lengthen the field for Project Name because we have to hover over it whilst looking at a project in order to see the full name of the project as it only shows the first 18 characters or so. 

Can someone help?

there's not really much we can do other than submit this as an idea.

The other thing you COULD do is set up a custom dashboard and then set that as the top section on your project. Among OTHER things, your custom dashboard could list your project name as one of the reports so you can easily see this as soon as you arrive on the project's landing page.

The only other thing that works for me is to zoom out. I'm a typer at heart so it's super easy for me to just control-minus a few times and then control-zero to get back to where I want to be.

@SharonFl2 - what area of the tool are you viewing it that it's truncating to 18 characters? My hunch is resource planner or workload balancer?

I'm just looking at the project view -- so it's a real bummer

I see. It's definitely based on the size of your screen and will modify with larger screens. When I use my monitors I can see the whole project name and when I use my laptop I can't.

One Option you could do is make the first task in a project task plan the name of the project as a parent task and nest all the tasks underneath it. You'll just want to make sure that task name column width is large enough to display the full names of tasks - this is how all of our projects are setup.

Also, as Skyler mentioned, changing your zoom can help to zoom in or out. Or even change your Scale and layout from your display settings on your monitor.
