PDF page links on Proof

I am unable to find any documentation on this question:
Does Proof keep active the PDF page or reference links on a pdf file that has been converted to a Proof? 

We have a report that includes a Table of Content which includes the link to the respective pdf page; however, when viewed in Proof on Workfront, the links are not working? Is this expected behavior?

Hi, that's expected. From product: "Proof doesn't support that type of link in PDFs to other pages within the same PDF. For context, the PDF is converted to a PNG to be viewed as an image on the Proof viewer, and there's no way to link to other images on the Viewer."

Hi, that's expected. From product: "Proof doesn't support that type of link in PDFs to other pages within the same PDF. For context, the PDF is converted to a PNG to be viewed as an image on the Proof viewer, and there's no way to link to other images on the Viewer."
