New Document Summary Sidebar view - YAY OR NAY? Have any of you been struggling with this new view?

My design team is not happy with the new document summary sidebar view. I just submitted feedback in the Innovation Lab -- please upvote it if you are having these same complaints!

1 - The design team references the document summary often and don't like the extra step in opening the document summary. is there a way to allow us to choose for the summary to always be open?

2 - Approvals section no longer provides "Details" ie - who has approved it? Now we have to click into approvals and view "details" to see it. That's three clicks vs just highlighting the document in our former view.
