Italics tasks in a custom task view

We created several custom tasks views. We are unsure why in these views certain task names show italicized. See attachment.

In the predefined views from Workfront we don't see this behavior.

Appreciate any insight.

I think we solved our question. It appears italic tasks are the ones on the critical path. When we use the built-in task view of Status all italic tasks show the critical flag active.
