Hey everyone!

My name is Nate Bagley. I'm the new Community Manager here at Workfront.

My job is to support you, answer your questions, facilitate conversations, help you get to know the Workfront software better, and make this community a cool place for you to visit regularly. I'm really excited to get to know you all personally.

I'd love it if you'd upload a profile picture of yourself here is a walkthrough of how to do that if you get stuck ) and then introduce yourself briefly in the comments below by answering one or all of these questions:

How do you use Workfront?

What would make this community amazing for you?

How much time do you spend using Workfront on a daily basis?

What are you passionate about (other than work)?

What's your favorite joke?

Here's a little about me: I'm very passionate about podcasting, I love Lindy Hop dancing, my guilty pleasure is the Muppets, and I'm super excited to be here at Workfront. I know the team here cares about you a lot. They're really excited to meet a bunch of you at LEAP in a few weeks. Ok, your turn! Upload that profile picture , and introduce yourself!

Just for giggles, I asked Google what the distance from the earth to the moon is in CVS receipts. I found the Earth is eight CVS receipts from the moon. For our non-USA readers, we have a chemist/pharmacy/drug store called CVS in the Colonies. When you finish at the till, they give you what the industry recognizes as the longest receipt. They have your purchase documented at the top, then they use the next two feet of receipt to give you coupons and advertisements. You walk out of the store holding two and a half feet (around 75 centimeters) of paper in your hand, trailing like a giant ribbon behind you. Or, alternatively, you ironically reject CVS’s lack of environmental sensitivity and wad it up into a golf ball of disgust and toss it in the bin. Or, as some do, let it free in the wind of the parking lot/car park to festoon nearby trees and shrubs. ☺

Here's an example of the CVS receipt. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-Oaw8yyN7NEE/TkMB_TrIPpI/AAAAAAAAM6w/FbWuov8Zsuc/s1600/CVS%2BReceipt.jpg On Thu, Jun 29, 2017 at 4:51 AM, Lucas, Eric < globalforum@communitylists.workfront.com> wrote: > Just for giggles, I asked Google what the distance from the earth to the > moon is in CVS receipts. I am a manger for software and electrical engineers. We will use Workfront to keep transparency to the rest of the organization. I like to learn more about advanced reporting features, and I struggle to find the appropriate methods to reproduce what is capable in the existing interface for some items which appear to be JOIN's between different item types. I like the ID => :name trick which works for some of my concerns, but I don't get why the Named version is not just in the list already to pick from. One example is that I would like to give a link to each of 'n' attachments to an object (Issue typically) in one or multiple columns of a report (bonus if I can filter required documents vs supplemental ones). Hey everyone, I figured it's high time I posted here, as I intend on becoming a bit more active with our community. I started life at AtTask in May of 2013. When I finished my training, I came in on a Friday to wrap up my last day of shadowing, and our only night person found it necessary to take a permanent leave. Sunday I came in to a phone ringing, and took 3 support calls within an hour. Yes Bill from Barnabas, I remember both times you called in that day. I worked the night shift for about 2 years before I slowly staggered my way into a day shift. I got to know many of our customers quite well, some of whom we've acquired their admins as employees (Giued!!) I moved up to our Tier 2 team around July/August of 2015. In 2016 I took a 2 1/2 month reprieve and found that the grass really isn't greener on the other side. Fortunately I was able to confirm I have an amazing manager, and a great team, whom decided to give me a second chance... Even though I still get side comments about being a deserter, I have to say I love where I work, and can't imagine being anywhere else. That said, I specialize more with our email side, outlook plugin, and work quite frequently with our network ops team (kindly referred to as our plops team internally... aka platform operations.) I am currently an Assigned Support Engineer, and have a list of clients such as United Fire Group, Mathworks, Jones Lang LaSalle, and many others. I love the companies I work with, and while I miss some of the other folks from my Tier 1 days, I still get to work with awesome people when I am backup for other ASE's that are out of the office (ahem.. Anthony Imgrund, Eric Lucas, Michelle Church, etc.) While there are times that are difficult, and people that are demanding, I look forward to coming in to Workfront every day to make sure the companies I work with, get the best support possible. I'll try to keep an eye on at least the Global Digest email that gets sent out, but those of you that know me, know that I will still try to help you out, whether you're my direct client or not. Hope you all enjoy your day! Dustin Martin Assigned Support Engineer Workfront

It was a pleasure working with you when you handled those of us who can't afford a special Tech yet. The nice thing for us has been I haven't had to call the Helpdesk in about 2-3 months. That's been a really nice change. Kudos to the team. And Congrats on your happy moves. Hi there. My name is Laura Schupbach. Don't let the "p" fool you, it's silent. Pronounced "Shu"-"bach". I live in a suburb of Atlanta and have been in the South for 13-1/2 years having migrated from the Chicago area for my husband's job. We'll never go back! We visit often as family is all in IL. I've been with the same company for almost 23 years! I've been in the Project Management space since 2001. Shortly after becoming a PM for RRD, I earned my Masters in Project Mgmt and then went back for my PMP certification in 2009. I am passionate about my faith, my family and tools that help my team work smart, collaborate and do less with better technology. As we inch toward our go-live for Workfront, we are excited about alleviating e-mails, reducing meetings, increasing the speed of gathering updates and input from project stakeholders and so much more.
