Hey everyone!

My name is Nate Bagley. I'm the new Community Manager here at Workfront.

My job is to support you, answer your questions, facilitate conversations, help you get to know the Workfront software better, and make this community a cool place for you to visit regularly. I'm really excited to get to know you all personally.

I'd love it if you'd upload a profile picture of yourself here is a walkthrough of how to do that if you get stuck ) and then introduce yourself briefly in the comments below by answering one or all of these questions:

How do you use Workfront?

What would make this community amazing for you?

How much time do you spend using Workfront on a daily basis?

What are you passionate about (other than work)?

What's your favorite joke?

Here's a little about me: I'm very passionate about podcasting, I love Lindy Hop dancing, my guilty pleasure is the Muppets, and I'm super excited to be here at Workfront. I know the team here cares about you a lot. They're really excited to meet a bunch of you at LEAP in a few weeks. Ok, your turn! Upload that profile picture , and introduce yourself!

Hello, and welcome Nate! My name is Kathy Haven, and I'm the PMO director at FCB (advertising) - heading up our enterprise deployments of Workfront. Our agencies are using Workfront to plan & manage work, as well as see Resource availability and allocations. I work on Workfront deployments/PGL support about 75% of my day. I am hoping to learn new tips & tricks and problem solve in this forum. I live in Boulder, CO and love being in the outdoors all year long - hiking, biking, skiing, running! Looking forward to seeing you all at LEAP.

Hi all, I work for a UK based global company named Xchanging who specialise in Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Our core industry sectors are Insurance & Technology although we do also have a presence in Procurement. We've been using Workfront for just over a year and currently enjoy 400 licences - however, our company has over 7000 employee's so we are looking to grow the product by some way yet. I personally Head up the Office of the CIO and have the responsibility, amongst others, for the Governance, Tools, Methodology and Frameworks we use across the business. In my spare time I enjoy mountain biking and also am the club secretary for a youth football (soccer) club that both of my son's are involved in.

Stuart, it sounds like you have a lot of responsibilites. That's a lot of plates to keep spinning at once. Thanks for being so active in the community. We're expecting to have some explosive growth in the next few weeks - and if Metcalf's Law holds true, the value of this community will only continue to grow. Do you have a Premier League club that you support? Workfront Community Manager - Work Smart, Work Happy Message me directly at:

hey there, I work in a company based in Washington (State, not city) and we use Workfront to manage our marketing pieces. I sysadmin Workfront, and that has me working in Workfront 70% of the time. This community would be a bit more amazing if you could start splitting out the global forum to more specific categories (reporting help, bugs, social, etc), and if we could upvote responses, so that (just like in Quora) the more popular responses can float up. Just like Nate, I lindy hop (and believe that Seattle has one of the best dance scenes in the world). To keep it all equal-opportunity, I also dance blues, balboa, salsa, bachata, kizomba, and tango. I started rock climbing a year ago, and have been lucky enough to climb in Australia and NY, in addition to our local rocks. I don't have a favorite joke, but my favorite comic is xkcd.com - that's usually good for a giggle. Looking forward to meeting people at LEAP and forming more of a community of peers where we can share knowledge with each other.

Hi Nate, My name is Dawn Hamil. I am the Workfront Administrator for Precision Dialogue, so I am in the system all day, every day. Precision Dialogue helps clients be more relevant to their customers by providing marketing services across four critical areas: strategy, information, insights and interaction. We have just completed our first year in the system and look forward to learning more, especially the contour feature for resource allocation coming out later this year. I look forward to see how others have solved problems / created workflows within Workfront & text sharing for reports for new column views! One of my recent favorites is the Assignment Breakdown. I’m very busy outside of work with my 3 kids, leading scout meetings & events for both Boy and Girl Scouts, as well as Sea Scouts, watching them dance & play in the band, marching & jazz and sports, track season is upon us right now. How many marketers does it take to screw in a light bulb? None -- they've automated it. :) Regards, Dawn

Skye, I feel like you are my kindrid spirit. I love blues, am trying to get better at Balboa, and you're right, Seattle has a killer swing scene. Also, I just bought my first climbing harness last week and have started climbing with my girlfriend. Are you also a Doghouse Diaries fan? I'll look into the available features to see if we can get an "upvote" feature added, and will work on breaking the global forum into more specific categories as I get to know the software a bit better. I'm hoping to have things a bit more organized before the influx of users we expect during LEAP. Great feedback. Thanks for chiming in, and great to meet you! @ Stuart - If I said Southampton would that ruin my chances of you bringing Marmite? :p

Congrats on starting climbing, Nate! It's a slippery slope (haha) to spending a ton of money on some good times. Utah (assuming you are based there) has some beautiful rock and I definitely want to come climb there one day. If you guys are ever in my part of the world, definitely let me know (and bring your harness and shoes) - we'll all go climbing together. There is a significant amount of crossover between the dance and climbing communities, and many of my dancing friends also love to climb.

this would guarantee my attendance for sure (and my climbing partner might want to tag along as well). ;-) In Reply to Nate Bagley:

No, you're OK Phil, Southampton aren't that bad. Now if you'd have said Spurs, Arsenal or even Man Utd it might have been a different story... In Reply to Phil Stickland:

Hi Dawn, I'm interested in hearing more about the assignment breakdown column. That's something I could use right now in my project view. Thanks in advance! In Reply to Dawn Hamil:

HI, My Name is Glenn Joyce and I work at Boden a UK Online clothing company. My role spans across Creative Services team and Catalogue Production as Senior Production Manager. We have been using Workfront for approx. 6 months and have spent a lot of time creating numerous templates for all the different marekting assets we produced through the system (we are up to around 70 templates). This spans from Emails, social, Web features through to printed marketing pieces and large format graphics. At any one time we have around 200 live jobs in the system. We are still explroing the many functions of the system and are looking in the future to use the resource tool to help us managing workload through departmenst with our Creative Services team. I am very interesting to meet and catch up with other users within a Creative Environment and chat about challenges they face daily. I am working mainly as a system admin, while ensuring all our Creative Processes are followed and Workfront is used. also managing the porject managers on our many campaigns. First to to LEAP so looking forward to meeting fellow users and learning more about the best ways to use Workfront. We arrive Sunday after the long haul flight from the UK ( 8-9 hour flight) so be gentle with us! You will see on my pic me and my 2 year old little boy, most of my spare time is spent chasing him round and keeping up with him growing up. I think I will save my jokes for the main event! :-) See you all in Florida next week!
