Integration with CDP and AJO

Hi all,

I am new to the Workfront product. Do we know if it is possible to integrate it with CDP & AJO, I do believe so it can be done via API or AEP connector.

Curious to here all your experiences.

Regards,

Celia

Hi @ccg1706 ,

Right now, there isn’t a built-in integration between Workfront and CDP or AJO. But you’re right—it can be done through the API. I’m not too familiar with the AEP connector, so I can’t say for sure if that’s another option.

You should be able to use the Workfront REST API to pull project, task, and work item data into AEP, CDP, or AJO. Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) APIs also let you bring in and manage customer data.

If you’re looking for an easier, low-code option, Workfront Fusion can help automate workflows between Workfront and other Adobe Experience Cloud apps, including AEP and AJO.

Since there isn’t a built-in solution, this would need to be a custom setup. I’d recommend reaching out to your Account Executive to see what options are available, including getting help from Professional Services if needed.

Hi @kautuk_sahni

I share my thoughts of this process.

Since the complex architecture of the project, the best way was via Workfront REST  API.  The main advantages that we find of doing it via API, rather than doing it with Worfront Fusion where the following ones:

- No limitation of custom logic.

- No additional cost of licensing for the customer.

- We found easier to trigger the events to AJO.

- We were able to integrate it with the back-end easier.

- We could customize actions according to customer requirements in time and manner.

- We were able to control real - time updates via API call.

Best,

Celia
