Inherit Access from Issue after Converting to a Project

Is it possible to inherit the access that is given or updated within the issue after it is converted to a project? We currently have a scenario where a group of users would like to be informed of updates after the issue has been converted to a project (via project template). We currently have to tag or provide view access for each person manually.

Any suggestions on how this can be automated?
