How to Convert an Issue into an Existing Project?

Sometimes we are able to do some pre-work on a project before a request comes in. We would then like to convert that request into the project we have already worked on (Instead of converting to a blank project or convert to a project from template). Is there a cleaner way to do this, short of selecting all tasks on the existing project and copying them into the blank project?

Hello,

I am quite sure, that using the possibilities Workfront offers will provide an easier way.

If you have Fusion, you could solve this quite easy.

The way workfront allows you to do this is detailed in the link below.

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/workfront/using/manage-work/issues/convert-issues/manually-tie-resolution-of-issue-to-ptis

(basically you link the issue to the project you already created)

Thanks for the link. I did try this way, but it does not appear to bring the details from the custom request form into the Project Details section of the resolving project as happens with creating a new project from template from a request. As these can be quite detailed, we need two pull them in from the request form into the project.
