Hi!
In the last week or so we've been having users get the following error when trying to duplicate requests: You must be a system admin to change this custom data parameter value.
We've been having users duplicate requests for several months now and are just now running into this issue. I'm guessing it's a permission error, but doing a quick scan in the system setup I can't find anything that would make this change.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated as a lot of our system is dependent on user's being able to duplicate requests.

This looks as though the users don't have access to a field on the custom form for the request they are copying. I would check the permissions on the custom form for any admin-only fields.

Is this a new development? We had admin only fields on our forms previously and it was not giving us this error.

Patches are usually rolled out towards the end of the week (wednesday nights) and often if there are any changes in behavior it can be traced back to these. I would probably guess it is an unintentional result and I suggest you log a case with Workfront Support (or have your support admin log a case). It's helpful to be able to tie it to a date (e.g. "we did successfully did this on wednesday 11/5 but it stopped working on friday 11/7")
As a workaround you could try hiding your admin-only, e.g. "display only if a specific checkbox is checked" -- this would have no effect on the data but leave that checkbox unchecked and see if your users are able to duplicate the request once they don't have the fields exposed.
