Enhanced Connecter 1.9.8 :: Asset Versioning in Workfront

We have final assets folder in WF connected to AEM linked folder and when we are uploading same asset with same name to the same location in Workfront, it is replaced the existing asset with the new one and not seeing versions for the particular asset in WF whereas in AEM we are seeing versions for the same.  Also we have enabled the option creating version

 

Any pointers on this. Is this is expected behavior?

To make sure I understand, you are uploading a new document (or is it a document version of an existing document) to Workfront, the document is getting pushed to AEM as a version of an already-existing asset with the same file name in AEM already, but now the original asset in Workfront is gone?

 

  • Prior to new upload:
    • Workfront:
      • File_A, version 0, name = File_name
    • AEM:
      • File_A, version 0, name = File_name
  • Workfront upload:
    • Workfront:
      • File_A, version 0, name = File_name
      • File_A, version 1, name = File_name
        • OR
      • File_A, version 0, name = File_name
      • File_B, version 0, name = File_name
    • AEM:
      • File_A, version 0, name = File_name
  • AEM Transfer:
    • Workfront:
      • File_A, version 1, name = File_name
        • OR
      • File_B, version 0, name = File_name
    • AEM:
      • File_A, version 0, name = File_name
      • File_B, version 1, name = File_name
