Default Field Value on Report Prompt

Hi WF Community, We have a Task report with a prompt for portfolio id. We were thinking of setting up a dashboard for this report, and then including the dashboard as a custom tab at the portfolio level, via a layout template. It all works as described above; however, I'm wondering if I can have the Portfolio ID field prompt automatically populate based on the portfolio I am on? Thanks. Nick Nick Valeriote

Hi Nick. No, that's not possible; but good news is that it doesn't need to be in order to do what you are looking for. If you add the dashboard as a custom tab to your Portfolio layout, the Portfolio ID prompt is redundant and can (should) be removed altogether. When it's run as a custom tab of an object, all records are filtered to the object being viewed. William English T-Mobile

Hi Nick, I'd also like to add that we covered the topic of ""https://youtu.be/-MsZ04gq984?t=516" Utilize Custom Tabs to Display Object-Specific Information " in WFPro Live 6. In the clip, you'll see how a custom tab is added to a project. You can perform the same steps, but on the Portfolio as @William English suggested. Thanks, Narayan
