Deactivate Resolve Comment Notification

Is there a setting anywhere to turn off the notification for "Resolve Comment" in Proof HQ? Our designers use that as a check list as they go through all of the edits on a proof to make sure they have made them all BUT it emails the person who made the comment every time. Some times there are a lot. I don't want to change the setting of the user as I still want them to be notified when a comment is made etc. Just hoping there was an option to only deactivate the resolve comment part. I looked everywhere I knew to and didn't see it so I am thinking it's not an option. :(
