Custom field on Issue form - list the users manager

Hi, I have a custom form for issues. I would like to list the users' manager on that form so I can display it in a report later on. I've tried using CONCAT(submittedBy.manager), and a bunch of variations on that as well.

Nothing is working as all of them are saying "Custom Expression Invalid".

Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Hi Randy - does this work for you?

    Calculation=

    Owner.Manager.Name

    Not sure why it is owner, but pulled a primary contact manager ID field on a report, converted to text mode, and it was owner.
