create custom form with selections/options populated from an SQL table or API?

Is it possible to create custom form with selections/options populated from an SQL table? Or is it possible to create a custom form with selections/options pulled from an external API? (e.g. Choose a city - and the options presented come from and SQL table or API call)  -- Update: I'm testing using the new custom form "external" option to connect to an API with the data that will populate the pull-down menu.  Here's a link about how to do it:  https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/workfront/using/administration-and-setup/customize/custom-forms/form-designer/design-a-form/external-lookup-examples.html?lang=en

Hello @itmailbox

From my knowledge this isn't possible unfortunately.

However you can look at it the other way. Making a overlay that captures the data needed and then makes the call to workfront.

Alot more coding and adoption but will allow what you need.

You may be able to do it with Fusion but a lot more would have to be known about the end goal.
