Comments included in Email Notifications

Does anyone know if there is a way to include a comment within the email notifications for Proof approvals? Our editors send about 20 video proofs a day, each with three approvers, and they are overwhelmed that, on top of their regular work, they have to stop what they're doing to dig 4 layers down into a proof from the emails to see a "Reason" note in an approval. Can the "Reasons" NOT be included in the email notifications they receive? Even if a comment could be shared via the emails when we approve, it would save time and frustration. Thanks!
