We have a lot of new faces here and one huge part of what makes this community great is getting to know other work management experts. Comment below to introduce yourself, tell us the main department(s) that use Workfront and what you use Workfront to do at your company. I'll randomly draw several winners from the people who comment below by Tuesday, September 8. That's just over 1 week to enter to win. If you update your profile with the same information (there are fields on your profile for department and use case) and let me know in your comment and you'll get TWO extra entries to win.

I'll get things started to give you an example of what to share...

My name is Kyna Baker, I'm the Community Manager at Workfront. We use Workfront in all departments at Workfront, my main use case is to manage projects related to Workfront One and customer case study creation.

Edit your profile to include this information (like in this screenshot) for extra entries to win!

Hi everyone! I'm Monique Evans from Stanley Black & Decker. I am the Workfront System Analyst for the GCX division which essentially means I own all aspects of Workfront for the Customer Experience (Marketing) Division.

At SBD we create tools, accessories and storage around the globe. My portion of our Workfront instance covers 500+ paid licenses and 10,000+ collaborators. Everything we do is in Workfront in some way whether it's the marketing deliverables themselves, the process, or coming up with the big idea.

Outside of Marketing and Product Development, my expertise lies in reporting and custom fields. So please do not hesitate to reach out to me, I love sharing ideas with other admins and project managers!

I have updated my profile to say all of this as well.

Hello Everyone! My name is Anthony Imgrund and I am a project manager for FCB Global’s Strategic Operations group. I am also the Global System Admin for our one instance of Workfront helping out the 16 different agencies we have in the tool as well as deploy to more agencies across the globe.

Each agency is at different maturity level, but the main departments using Workfront are Project Management/Integrated Production, Account, Development (including QA), and Print Studio. Some agencies also include Creatives, strategy, and regulatory operations as well.

For me personally, I use Workfront to consolidate all the help requests with a request queue and then I also have an agile team with a backlog of things I need to do when I have the time. I plan bi-weekly iterations even though I’m a team of one just so that I at least take a moment to pause consider what is actually possible with my huge list.

Hi everyone! I'm Teale McCleaf. I am a contractor with Hays Consulting working as a Workfront SME at Google in the Corporate Engineering department. I am one of a group of admins here that work with various teams in the company. For this reason, the teams I work with change frequently but include Hardware, Software, Finance, and HR to mention a few.

The majority of my implementations consist of recreating an existing process in Workfront to provide greater visibility across a portfolio(s) of work, automation of capture and dissemination of data, or anything that just solves the teams existing pain points.

Nice to meet you all virtually and I hope we can meet in person at LEAP next year!

Hi Everyone! My name is Beth Dawson and I am a Marketing Consultant for The Hartford and a WF Admin. My department had had WF for almost a year and are beginning to see the fruits of our labor. We use WF for project management and proofing, but also for resource/capacity planning. I'm very excited about the new tools (Align and Scenario Planner) being introduced as we want to leverage every available tool to streamline and create efficiencies.

My name is Benetta Perry. I am the Workfront System Administrator for APS Payroll Systems. Client onboarding (implmentation), Sales, Project Managers, Training, and Tax all use Workfront. Mainly every department within our company except development, testing, HR, Accounting and Customer Support. We are all located within the yet to be United States. We have been using Workfront since 2016 and have made major redesign since my attending LEAP. I did not have a great understanding when I initially setup the design and workflow - so LEAP is priceless.....

Hi Kyna and Fellow Workfront Users,

Our company brought in Workfront (At Task) in 2012. In the beginning I was an end user assigned work through the platform. We had around 80 (paid and review) users in the platform at launch. Today we're nearing 1300.

Originally the platform was just used within our Marketing org, for a single product line sold in the United States. Today we have people from across our enterprise (and world) using it to collaborate on many product lines.

As the main platform admin I spend most of my time supporting tickets from users (we have a Workfront Administration Request Queue), on boarding new teams, and collaborating with groups already in the platform on how we can continue to improve.

@Monique Evans‚ I'm in awe of your volume. How many admins to you have to support that number of users? And thanks for the offer to share, I'd love an opportunity to chat about some of the work you've done.

My name is Anna Welsh and I'm the Senior Operations Manager at an email marketing agency. We use Workfront to manage our client work across the various departments (creative, tech, account management, strategy, even internal marketing & new biz teams). We also use Workfront as our system of record to track financial data and log time. The data we have been able to obtain from Workfront has been extremely valuable from an operations standpoint. I've been the system admin now for ~3 years & we are in the middle of an expansion due to a merger so there are lots of new and exciting things in the works!

PS. I've updated my profile with this info as well :)

My name is Gretchen Coghill. I am an IT Program Manager in State Government leading a large, complex, multi-year business transformation and IT integration program. I am looking to use Workfront to manage all aspects of the program from resourcing, scheduling, cross project dependencies, risks/issues, change management, etc. Workfront is currently being used in our IT area to request and track work within individual teams.

Hi Everyone!

My name is Linda Kaplan and I'm the System Admin for our team, along with my 2 project managers. We're a health & wellness retailer and I brought in WF in early 2018, about 6 months after I joined the company. As luck would have it, we were pursing WF at my last company before the business closed so I was very familiar with it when I started my new job. I was really excited when I found out that they had already started talking about transitioning to WF.

We have about 150 users and use WF primarily for creative project management (including proofing) across all channels - print and digital. And we have a team who recently started to use the proofing function for store plan-o-grams. This has been a game changer for them!

About 95% of our team has already been transitioned to the New Experience with little or no complications. The remaining users will be moved over this week.

My goal is to expand our usage to cross functional teams within the company in 2021.

Hello! My name is Sheri Whitten and I'm the Workfront System admin and the Marketing & Production Coordinator for the in-house Creative Services team for Gordon Food Service. We've been using Workfront since November 2018, and this is the 4th (and hopefully last!) work management system I've managed over my 16 years here to keep track of all our corporate marketing projects. In addition to our Creative and Marketing teams, we also have our Events, Branded Marketing, and Digital Marketing teams currently using Workfront to manage their projects.
