Column in report not an option under charts

Hi friends! I have an assignment report that shows planned hours and actual hours per assignment. I'd like to output both fields to a chart. Planned hours (valuefield=workRequired) is showing up as an option, but actual hours (valuefield=actualWorkCompleted) is not. Any ideas?

I think it may require a grouping to appear as a chart option. I don't know how your report is built but that would be my first guess.
