Can you export custom forms for re-import into Sandbox or Preview environments?

I would like to configure my Sandbox environment to have the same forms as my production one to test some api calls. Without reinventing the wheel, is there a way to export the forms from production so that I can bring them into my lower environment for testing?

This discussion is pretty close to what I want but nobody gave a very good answer.

    Hi Jordan,

    I invite you to consider our Packages solution, which you could use to efficiently transfer custom forms (and data, should you choose) from Production into Sandbox, where you can then (safely) test your API calls.
