Can I run a report to show me individual timesheet entries that contain a comment?

Hello Fellow WorkFronters,

I would like to be able to run a report that would do the following:

Show me all timesheet entries that contain comments by user X for project X.

The report would then show me:

  • The text of the comment
  • The date it was entered
  • the task it is associated with

Any thoughts on if this is possible?

Hi Joe,

Definitely possible: I’d suggest you create an Hours report, with a view including the Project, Task, Hour Entry Date, Hour Owner Name, Hour, and Description (aka Comment), with a Prompt for each of those same fields, so the end user can choose the data of interest (via the Prompts) at the time, then see all the relevant data that then matches (via the view).
