When I convert an issue into a project using a project template, I would love for a Board to be automatically created with all my specified tags, columns, etc. Can Boards be added to a project template?
The short answer is no, but… right now Boards are still in its infancy. There are currently no API entries for boards, so no way to even report on them, much less add them to templates. But from what I hear, they are working on some pretty exciting enhancements for Boards and they will be added incrementally. Since last Summer, we have seen some pretty good progress so I would bet that development will move along pretty quickly.
I don't know if template integration is on the road map but if enough people want it, it will be.
