Calendars on Canvas Dashboard

Hi there, it sounds more like you're asking if you'll be able to add an external URL in a Canvas dashboard like you can with Classic dashboards (which is how users usually bring calendars into a dashboard and you can also do this with various Planning views in a classic dashboard this way currently). It's not currently a capability but is in discussion to have a similar functionality as external pages - no timing known right now.

At the top of Canvas, you'll see a feedback button. I encourage you to submit feedback expressing the desire to be able to bring in an external URL into a Canvas dashboard - that feedback goes straight to the Canvas team.
