Attaching Template/Template Tasks to the already existing Project/Tasks

I have created a project with a huge bunch of tasks without any template and is in progress, almost 50% complete. But now I am trying to link the Template tasks to my project tasks, I dont see any field on the Task details to attach or link the Template tasks. I was able to attach the Template to the Project level but not able to detach.

I have 10+ projects (50 tasks each) to update with the Template references. Please provide any Ideas on this.

I'm not sure I understand fully but templates and their tasks are designed to apply at the project level.  Anytime you attach a template to a project it will pull in those tasks from the template into your project. It sounds like you have non-template tasks you created in a single project and you want those to be connected to tasks that are part of a template?  There is no way to connect or link tasks in Workfront.

If you're projects are not yet started you could select and remove all of your tasks then use the 3-dot menu to attach template to grab the template that has the template tasks you want..again not sure I understood right?

@srinija_n just checking in! Were you able to get this resolved? If one of the replies above helped—whether it completely solved the issue or simply pointed you in the right direction—marking it as accepted can make it much easier for others with the same question to find a solution. And if you found a different way to fix it, sharing your approach would be a great contribution to the community. Your follow-up not only helps close the loop but also ensures others benefit from your experience. Thanks so much for being part of the conversation!
