Assign a project to a team?

Can you not assign a project to a team?

I know you can assign a request/issue to a team, but I'm unable to assign a team as the owner of a project. I'm assuming this is by design, but it's a bit confusing where you can and can't use teams/groups/etc.

You can assign a task to a team. This can be done within the project, or on templates if that makes sense for your use case. However, the project owner can only be a single individual. I would recommend the team lead or project manager.

In addition to Monique's input, this article may be helpful to give a bit more context between teams and groups, https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/workfront/using/teams-groups/work-with-groups-teams/understa...
