Access to a team without owning or participating

Does Workfront allow sharing your team with others so that can at least view it when they go into waffle menu > teams and then click on the dropdown list of teams they are part of. 

Basically I want a user to be part of my Agile team in WF but he does not want to receive any notifications from this team particularly.

Teams can't be "shared". Their access is controlled by permissions set up through access levels in the system. As long as they have view access to either all teams or teams in their group (depending on your setup), they should be able to see the team.

can you just get around it by pinning the URL of the team to his global nav bar?
