Workfront -- timezone feature in the platform

Our Marketing team works in different time zones (EST, PST, India) The campaign dates on our calendar and project plan are all different, because we are in different time zones.  For everyone to see the same date, we need to manually change our computer time to align to East Coast time. I'd like to recommend Workfront build a time zone feature in Workfront as a profile preference.

There are ways to alleviate the pain, at least partially.

  1. See @ScottMo1's suggestion to set the user's time zone.
  2. Configure Schedules in your admin Setup. It can be tedious, but I have a schedule for each country in which we have users (over 20). I update my schedules annually to accommodate holidays in each country.
  3. Consider setting the schedule of the project. Find this field in Project Actions > Project Settings > Schedule. We have a default schedule for our projects, but in some cases a project owner will adjust the project schedule to align with the schedule of a specific country to account for the time difference. For example, we want to send a customer email in Japan, so the project schedule will be for Japan instead of our default US.

Same issue here, but we have about 8 timezones. The issue with the user timezone is when someone enters a task start date at 8am CST, it shows as 9am EST so a day long task trickles into the next EST timezone.
