Work Items Only Appearing for Primary Assignees

Tasks on the homepage will only appear for workers on their Work List if they are listed as the Primary Assignee. We often have more than one person assigned to a task and they all need to be able to see when it's with them to work on.

Ever find a solution for this? Seems like a miss on the worklist functionality if not.
