When Submitting a Request, ability to "populate or copy request from" old request

It would be nice if when submitting a request through any request queue, a user could select a "copy request from" option and then find an old issue or project, then this information would feed into the new form (as long as the fields were the same). This would at least give a head start on some of the huge forms our requestors have to fill out. OR, if they could go to an old issue/project and there was an option there to "Submit request from" then they could select the appropriate queue (that way the routing would work as designed). If the fields would just go blank if they do not exist anymore, that would prevent issues with custom form changes. I know this is probably a long shot, but I get requests for it frequently.

I made a similar request, please also vote on the idea: https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115005602167-Ability-to-copy-recurring-request-forms.

I had a user ask for this again last week.

Hi Diane! I already voted on yours and didn't realize it, I probably did it a while ago and while I was hunting to see if I had already found something like that couldn't find it. Idea Exchange really needs to automatically hit "follow" when we vote on an idea. :) Hopefully with both of ours out there someone will hear it. Thanks so much!

This would be a huge benefit to my team- I would like to add that we should be able to copy from a previously submitted request BUT have some edit capability, since at least some of the information may need to change, requested completion dates, documents, etc...this is should be accessible to ALL users- not just Admins.

Yes, please! A lot of our users requests the same work! Would be great if we can have a "short" cut to copy old requests for a new request!

Hi. Just so everyone knows, this idea https://one.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z000000PSUSAA4/detail and this idea https://one.workfront.com/s/idea/0870z0000004W3eAAE/detail have been merged into this idea.

YES! I get this question all the time to have this ability. This would be great since a lot of the requests we get have the same fields fields and information, but need to be tweaked just a little bit. This would be great if it would also have the option to carry over any attached documents to the new request from the old request.

YES!! Here is my use case in which this or similar solution will be hugely beneficial. We have a request queue that our marketing team uses in which an RFQ creative brief routes to the selected creative agency (19 total queue topics/agencies). If the requester wishes to RFQ from multiple agencies, they have to manually submit the same creative brief form, copying and pasting every field in the form each time.

OR - pretty much any form that a user uses frequently but may make a few field changes with each request.

The move or copy form functionality does not meet this requirement. Neither does the new 20.3 release 'Save Draft' (I was hoping this feature would allow users to save drafts permanently!)

My organization would benefit greatly from this type of enhancement. We have customers the need to submit multiple requests that are very similar.
