Updates Tab - add colors & pinning

When using the 'updates' function or tab, it would be useful for our teams to be able to utilize this space in a fashion similar to email. IE- to add colored text to responses, in order to differentiate between users.

 

Also, it would be helpful to allow certain updates to be 'pinned' to the top of the page so they don't get lost. OR to categorize them as "bulletins or job notes" of some kind to set them apart from the back and forth threads.

    This is a great idea! I would also love to be able to insert a screenshot into an update instead of having to upload into documents and link to the document. It would be so much easier!

    @rmarolda - You are able to attach images to an update. 🙂

     

    Go to Setup > Interface > Update Feeds > Preferences tab > check the box to allow images

     

    Then drag and drop the image in the update box

    Yes! Being able to pin a message is a great idea! This would answer the same question being asked in a larger conversation and help users and requests.

    Yes! It would be nice to pin important or TO DO updates at the top, and also be able to group conversations by topic. When so many people are involved, the Updates section can feel a bit crazy!
