Update documents without downloading & re-uploading

My team would like the ability to update documents without having to download the documents and then re-upload new versions.

In SharePoint, we are able to check out a document, make an update, and then simply check the document back in. We never have to download a document to our personal desktops and then re-upload the docs to the server. My team would like to be able to do the same thing in WorkFront in order to make document updates easier to complete.
