Timesheet submission as a task in Home tab

Can you add weekly timesheet submission as a task in the Home tab? Although a weekly reminder email has been setup, it hasn't really been effective because it is easy to miss or overlook the reminder email. Showing it as a late task for each missed timesheet would be a lot more effective since it will be always in the Home tab as a late task until the timesheet is submitted.
