Task approval notification email for Planning/Idea

Currently, notification emails are not triggered for the approvers of tasks on prokects with status as Planning or Idea. There should be a way to override this.

We have a scenario where we want to capture approval of a team when the project is in Idea or Planning status. The approvers dont receive any emai notification that they have to approve a task.

This is also a little confusing for the approvers. They receive emails if they have to approve tasks on Current projects but not on projects with status as Idea or Planning .

I completely agree. We go through qualification process before a project is allowed to be current, and need approvals to facilitate that. It's odd to me that we can't have email notifications in that state, when that's when approvals should potentially be the most critical.
